This was a re-read for me since it is for a book club that I am a part of.
While there were many things that stood out to me, probably the same ones from the first time, it felt different. I don't know if that is because I am thirty years old instead of my teens or early twenties. Although it is something that anyone can read, it felt like the intended demographic is girls/women in their mid-late teens and early twenties.

A well written first novel that kept me wanting to read it. It wasn't till half way through that I started trying to guess where it was going and who was doing what.

I enjoy short stories now and then, but I felt like this collection of short stories was a little slow. What I did like about this collection was that each story felt different and there was a good variety of fairy tales, legends and lore that they were based off of.
