I found the book to be an enjoyable combination of historical fiction, romance, and a bit of mystery. Whether it is set in America or a different part of the world, I am always down for reading historical fiction.

I practically sped through this book while reading and was highlighting like crazy. There were many different points that stood out to me, though I don't remember them all at the moment. But is something that gets you thinking, in a good way I hope, about how, as women, we aren't supposed to be stuck in a rut and are capable of being alive and productive, etc.

It was an enjoyable and easy read. I enjoy reading cozy romance books that make me want to spend time with the characters. Especially if there is a coffee shop or bookstore involved, yarn shops can be involved as well :)

Self-help books usually aren't my thing when it comes to reading, but I found this book through Barnes and Noble and decided to give it a go. While I liked the premise of it, it didn't really seem to do much for me. Especially at the end when it seemed like the author ended it kind of like a letter instead of a book and fell a little flat.

I didn't really know much about Nancy Mitford until rather recently, so I enjoyed reading this book and getting a general idea of who she was. Not to mention I am always down for a decent book on World War II that offers a different perspective.

It has been a while since I've read a book in a couple of days instead of longer. The plot had me guessing on some of the characters, so the ending was surprising.

What started out as a random find at the library turned into a mini history lesson on a part of World War II and a concentration camp that I didn't know much about.
