This book focuses on the drama that comes between a family that's fighting over money, one of my favorite tropes! It was fun to follow along with each of their perspectives and learn what they were all hiding from each other. This wasn't super thrilling in the sense that there weren't any massive twists, but there's enough surprises to keep you hooked throughout the drama!
There were a lot of characters and while they were easy to keep straight thanks to the multiple perspectives, some of them felt superfluous. There were a few character descriptors that were made to feel like a huge deal in the beginning of the book and then just kind of fell flat at the end.

I think the audio absolutely made this book so enjoyable! There were narrators for every character, which made it so easy to follow, and sound effects to truly bring the story to life! This whole story is told via diary entries, captured footage, and a TV show. I wish the paranormal interactions were a little more built out, but it was still creepy to hear what the characters experienced! The ending on this was super weird and seemed like it came out of nowhere, and that's the only thing that I didn't like about this.

If you like dark humor, you'll love this book!!
I really enjoyed seeing all the different perspectives to see how each person views the world and the tragedy that comes along with it.
Because there was so much history for each character (and lots of characters) it made it a bit hard to follow and track how they all connected.
I wish the story would have focused more on the characters that worked in hell and what they went through daily, those were always the funniest and most entertaining parts!

Sometimes hard to follow with Asian terms and phrases, otherwise a fun account of a "nobody" entering into the life of someone who has everything.
