This book focuses on the drama that comes between a family that's fighting over money, one of my favorite tropes! It was fun to follow along with each of their perspectives and learn what they were all hiding from each other. This wasn't super thrilling in the sense that there weren't any massive twists, but there's enough surprises to keep you hooked throughout the drama!

There were a lot of characters and while they were easy to keep straight thanks to the multiple perspectives, some of them felt superfluous. There were a few character descriptors that were made to feel like a huge deal in the beginning of the book and then just kind of fell flat at the end.
