This is such a well written thriller that does a great job combining technology with a unique plot. There are a lot of characters, but they each have a unique storyline which makes them easy to follow.

I loved the snippets of entries and comments, it's a fun way to follow along! I was super invested throughout this whole book and couldn't wait to see what happened next!

This is *almost* too real, which makes it even creepier!! The author did a great job writing this, it was so much fun to read!

This book really hooked me from the beginning! I was getting so frustrated at the choices each character was making, which just made me want to read more to see how it turned out! I was definitely freaked out by this book, especially owning an old house!! The author does a great job detailing the house and how it plays a role in everything that goes on.

There were some parts that felt unnecessary and confusing, or were just added to add more pages.

The ending was a bit confusing and very frustrating since it's so vague!

Overall I did really like this book and it lived up to the creepy name!

This was such a captivating book! I was hooked throughout the entire thing. I liked that each chapter was kind of in the perspective of each character but had bits from everyone else as well. There were a few characters that I think could have been more built out, but overall it was really well done. A good thriller with a satisfying ending!

This was a really weird book, and it took me a while to figure out if I actually liked it or not. The premise was very Stepford Wives, but with a fully Black community. The ending really shocked me, and I'm glad I read the author's note at the end, because it put things more into perspective for me. There wasn't much of a plot, I could easily summarize the entire thing in 2 sentences. But it was definitely an easy to read book!

There was absolutely no plot to this book. This was so similar to the movie I, Robot with a family thrown in. The hums are just robots and there was no point to anything happening. Even the one "big" thing that happens is solved in the next few pages. Only redeeming thing is that it was a fast read.

It took a bit for me to get into, but then I was hooked by the strange town and weird people! The two detectives are good opposites that balance each other out. The plot was unique and tied in multiple timelines, which slowly reveals what's going on.

There are a TON of characters, which does make it a bit confusing and hard to follow at times. This was a bit gorier than I usually like, but thankfully it wasn't often.

You definitely don't need to read the first one to fully understand this one, it's standalone!

I really could NOT get into this book. The ending was such a let down, the characters felt flat and the plot was hard to follow.

This was a very well written book and I was hooked throughout! The characters were descriptive and interesting, and it was easy to follow their story. I was really invested into Sol's experience, but the ending really ruined it for me! I felt like it was too quick of an ending and didn't match what she was going through. Super disappointing ending in an otherwise great book!

A very sweet and heartwarming story!! I really enjoyed following along with Ted and his journey to discovering himself. I kept waiting for something bad to happen, but this was just a very happy story. There wasn't much substance to the story and everything seemed to be just *too* perfect in the end. Overall, a fun and easy read that's perfect for the end of summer!

I really liked this book! You can tell it was written by someone with experience in the influencer world because it didn't seem forced or annoying like some influencer thrillers do. I liked the plot, but it was WAY too long, I think about half the book could have been cut out. The ending was kind of confusing, but also surprising. I liked the interaction between the mom and daughters, it was really wild!

I HIGHLY recommend this in audiobook format, the narrators were incredible and really brought each section to life!! It was fun listening to the podcast episodes and Reddit threads this way.
