This was a fun plot for a thriller! It was interesting to figure out what was happening along with the main character. This was super unique!

There were times when the multiple characters got confusing and it was hard to keep up with the plot, but overall it was a good read!

I loved the rich person drama aspect of this one!! Everything was so twisted and everyone was so conniving, but having the character names titled at the top of each chapter helped to keep everything straight. So many twists and shocking moments throughout!!

Overall a good not great book. This was a super unique plot and it was fun following the main character on his travels! It definitely got a big long in the middle, which made me have to put down the book a few times and read only a couple chapters at a time before my interest waned. The multiple fantasy stories within a story got confusing and hard to follow at times. Some of the stories were super gory and detailed, which was hard to stomach. There were a lot of characters involved, but the author did a good job distinguishing them from one another.

The ending was such a rollercoaster of happy and sad! I thought it was so sweet, but then everyone kept dying! I thought this was going to be a sweet and heartwarming story, so maybe those expectations changed my opinion on the book?

OMG what a thriller!!! I was on the edge of my seat the entire time, captivated by what was going to happen next! The characters were so well written and all complimented each other so well. I loved the podcast format, it was a fun way of telling the story! I highly recommend this to everyone, this was great!!

Time for brutal honesty: I don't typically like the "mother dealing with a newborn" plot because kids and motherhood isn't my jam, but this one I got into more because it focused on the downsides of being a mom. Maybe a bit of schadenfreude there??

The twist made me audibly gasp and yell, and I read this all in one day! There were a few plot points that weren't fully explained or things that didn't make sense, but overall it was written well which made it easy to read and super easy to follow.

It might be tough for mothers to read since there's a lot of scenes and descriptions of child abuse.

Another incredible thriller from Gillian McAllister!! I was drawn in from the beginning with the unique plot, and it kept me hooked throughout! I loved following the story from different viewpoints and across time. The twists were so surprising and just kept coming!

I'm struggling with rating this because most of the book was really interesting, but the end got crazy religious and out of nowhere started pushing religion. It's hard to know what's true and what's not, but it certainly made for an entertaining read! If not for the ending this would have been 5 stars.

A great spooky paranormal thriller! A slow burn with a few unexpected and creepy moments!

I wished there was a little more ghostly interaction and descriptions, some of the story seemed like it focused more on the family vacation than the ghosts. The ending felt a little flat, but overall still a great thriller that I'd recommend!

Absolutely wonderful book with lots of creative ways to deal with grief!!

I enjoyed the characters, but it felt like something was missing in the story to get me really hooked. My least favorite of the series.
