⭐️4.5⭐️ Superb. Well paced, interesting and complex main characters and side characters, and a fascinating plot and world that brings about so many valid questions about the fate of humanity. I’ll definitely be continuing on with the series!

Very interesting concept and premise. I enjoyed the message behind the book, and I think the execution was done wonderfully. Even though it takes place in the span of seconds, it didn’t feel rushed at all. It wasn’t horrid and I would definitely recommend.

This Volume 1 is a nice enough intro to Supergirl for the New 52 world, but it was a so-so read overall. I wanted more of everything and it just didn’t deliver in the way I was hoping.

I enjoyed this book, especially because I like The Breakfast Club and am a super fan of Pretty Little Liars, so I thoroughly enjoyed how this felt like a mashup of the two. The ending felt a bit like a cop-out, but it had its redeemable qualities. It’s definitely a quick read. I thoroughly enjoy the character transformation of the one character Abby, and I wish that there had been a little bit more development with the other characters.

WOW WOW WOW. This is the first Emma Mills book I’ve read and the bar is set so high now. This book is incredible. Mills has such a knack for interesting and complex secondary characters and friendships. The evolution of friendships between the main character Sloan and Vera is one of my favorites of all time, and I’m looking forward to reading more from Emma Mills.

WOW WOW WOW. I can’t say much without revealing major spoilers, but WOW. I recommend this book to anyone and everyone. Not only is the plot stunning, the writing is fantastic and fast-paced.
