I literally have no words!!! This was a masterpiece! The first season of this series was AMAZING! The glimpse into the parkside cove series was executed well!! The way the main topic of this book was written extremely well & accurately for a lot of black men. This book was everything. 

Whewww chile. This one is hands down my favorite story of the series soo far. I literally just finished it & im kind of struggling to put my thoughts into words but this here was a masterpiece. I don’t know why ppl disliked Zeus prior to this book but I can guarantee by the end of this book they will at least understand him more. Zeus went through a lot & had to grow up quickly and basically become a father something he didn’t ask for. I loved the representation of the fact that men long to be loved & chosen just like women. I loved the growth Zeus went through. I loved everything about this. The ending did choke me up a little bit. 

Maaaaannnnn Harvey gotta see me cause ain’t no way. Remember that smashed the homie song Ray J them made they were also talking about Harvey!! I did not like the way she moved but it did make for an entertaining story. After Harvey line Dio up too cause he out here moving just like a delinquent. I understand him doing what he did & that was unfortunate situation HOWEVER, He still moving reckless & shiesty. I am excited to see what’s next including what’s next with freckles but I’m not ready for chev my heart broke 

Fawwwkkkkiiiiiinnnnn DIAMOND!!!!! Baby!! This book right here. I loved how Yana made it known that she was gone make Diamond stand on business. I also loved seeing the boys (at this point preach & Diamond) be soft for their women. The overall & continuous plot of this is crazy in a good way. Also I know identify as a zoo baby & a resident of Diamond land.

 The best way to describe this book is: it’s a slow burn thriller. Slow burn in the sense of the plot moves at a slow pace & the plot twist doesn’t occur until past 90%. The plot twist was written well it didn’t give me that OMG! Clutches pearls feeling but it is still written good & had a shock factor. 

This book was really cute & slightly tensioned filled. I wouldn’t say this is a full blown enemies to lovers because I don’t think the two characters hated each other but the vibes are similar. K.C. Really can’t do wrong in my eyes when it comes to writing goodness. 

I just can’t do MMCs that aren’t on their feet call me shallow idgaf also I don’t think young/new adult is for me anymore because you’re 18 doing what?! 

Overall this book & series was good. I do feel like the ending was rushed a little. 

Not even gone hold you the ending seems random as hell & not a character has progressed. Things were looking up in book 2 & now I’m looking at everybody sideways.
