I am speechless. The way Cartel was down bad for Adina & was determined to love her through her trauma & to help her heal had me sliding down the wall 🥺 All this man wanted to do was love her the way she deserved to be loved. He just wanted to be everything she deserved, needed but never had. It was definitely him for me but also his parents & his family they all just jumped in helped support & take care of adina without knowing her from a can of paint. This book had me full on sobbing 😭 but it also provided some laughs & lighter moments (but check your trigger warnings..this book is a little heavier than the first book). After the heaviness of this book I can’t wait for Walker & Jorja’s book I know they gone give some laughs & toxicity.

Listen the way this author had my emotions on a roller coaster with this book is crazy.
Jamison is a single father of FOUR children & is grieving his wife who passed away giving birth to the last baby. All he is focused on his the kids, his job & grieving his wife so when his mother-in-law suggests that he hires a nanny for some extra help the last thing he thought was that he would fall for the nanny. Now listen both Jamison & Aleviyah fought the attraction between the two of them but what’s meant to be will be no matter how hard you try to fight it.
I loved how the author not only had the children be respectful & open but also supportive of Aleviyah being with their dad. Especially the oldest daughter, sometimes authors have the oldest child be disrespectful & bitter & mean towards the nanny or new woman after their mother has passed but in this book the author did the complete opposite & I loved it. Them children loved & respected her from the day they met her.

The way Aero is UNHINGED is wild but I ate it all up 😂 This book is basically about this girl who is deep into the church & her religion & this man that is the complete opposite but once upon a time believed what she believed. One day Bri meets this masked man who is hell bent on opening up her eyes to see the lies that the “church” has portrayed. The masked man wants to save her & help her tap into the brave & courageous woman that she is. There’s spice, betrayal, twists & a lot more in this book.
Tropes:
- masked man
-Stalker
- age gap
- “pure” FMC
- Possessive MMC
- Grumpy Sunshine

DNF, but I MAY come back to it to try again. For some reason it’s not giving what I expected it to give.
decent mafia romance book but minimal spice & the RH factor/trope was very minimal it was more so the FMC had multiple FBs instead of one relationship with multiple guys.
slow-paced
Cute, but didn’t tickle my fancy. The plot could’ve had more buildup

Sooo spicy, sooo good, top tier mafia, RH book I’ve ever read *Chefs Kiss*
Had potential to be a great book, I think it should have been book number 4 instead of book number 7. The book contained several typos
