Listennnn the plot thickens okay. So at this point we don’t need a POV from tremaine. Him & Maniyah really ain’t got nun interesting going on. Wayne is grimy as heck & deserve everything Montana got for him but for him to try to use Zaire to off Montana is beyond foul. I’m glad Alecia finally checked willow cause sis doing too much but at the same time I understand why she insecure. Shoutout to teddy for taking the step to see a therapist & also making sure that Celine understands that he wants to get himself together mentally before taking the next step with her. Now Orion he can go & burn in that place that’s super hot cause why sir?! Now you boo boo crying & want your family back sir move around. I hope Kelsey get her lick back in the best way. Now if big Efrem don’t get out in the next book I know something.

The main reason I didn’t give this book a higher rating was because it was waaaayyy too many POVs & storylines & at times it was kinda hard to remember who’s who. 
Alecia is definitely being added to my fav FMC list simply because she’s a bad 🐝 & knows it. She wasn’t afraid to call Montana out on his stuff & let him know she had him down bad & lowkey desperate for her. However though I think Montana is the type of dude that Alecia needs. A rough neck, real dude that don’t mind jacking her up & putting her in her place. That conversation they had about her submitting to a real man was spot on. The fact that it took them dang near the entire book to get together fr lowkey blew me but I guess it was worth it. I just hope this revelation doesn’t ruin them especially since I already knew Wayne wasn’t no good. 
I hope Orion gets his stuff together before he ruins his family. I understand where he’s coming from but dude your WIFE is showing you the type of person she is & you’re steady pushing her away due to your insecurities. 
Honestly I feel like this situation with Tremaine & Maniyah is either going to make or break them because I get the feeling that Tremaine wanted Maniyah to choose differently but also agreed that they’re too young. 
Finally imma need somebody to tap Willow because I can already see that she’s going to cause trouble for my boy pee-wee. 
Oh & Nadia is going to be a problem too simply because she’s delusional & I hope when she step outta like Alecia leave her professional self behind & whoop her tail cause I see it coming. 

3.75… This book wasn’t bad & it wasn’t great. This is my third or fourth consecutive book by this author & I can tell a pattern in her FMC’s & they lowkey annoying but also her MMC’s struggle to communicate too. 

Recommend reading promises from a hood legend FIRST… Not even gone lie lianna got on my nerves at times especially at the end cause gi what is you doing? Stop playing games & go to your man but I also didn’t like how wyzdom did her when he got locked up that was foul af & made nooo sense. These two really played a lot of games more so in the second part of this book instead of the first but overall it’s a good one. 

This book had my attention from the very beginning. Dez wasn’t worth the tears or stress that yoyo gave him & he got what he deserved. I will say that we seen the most character growth in Kaliko. He quickly realized that the way he was living was going to result in him being locked up & that ain’t what he wanted. He was also down bad for yoyo & it was evident. 
The reason I didn’t give this book five stars is because some of the facts didn’t add up like in one part of the book it would say one thing then later it would say something else happened. Also I think the flow of the book would’ve been better if it was set up into parts maybe but the flow that it’s on didn’t effect the book. 

This book was the perfect fluffy read with a dash of hood. I loved it. The automatic chemistry between Krash & Koya was lit. I do wish the epilogue would’ve been more so about Krash & koya but it was still good. I can’t wait for Keirson & Major’s book. 

I think the major thing out of this book is Axel’s character growth. You can see him transform & start to open up, face his trauma, etc. 
I feel like the pace of this one was slightly inconsistent in comparison to book 1 but the plot still gave what it was supposed to & the spice was definitely still there. Also, the last 10% of this book legit had me at the edge of my seat & confirms that scarlet is one of my fav. FMC’s. 

4.75… First I 100% didn’t give this book 5 stars simply because I’m a hater & it also ends on a cliffhanger 😂🤷🏾‍♀️ Secondly, I had sworn off why choose books because I found an author who had me hooked on her why choose books & it was like whenever I tried to read a why choose by a different author it usually ended in a DNF HOWEVER, this right here EATSSSSS. It’s soooo good. The spice & formation of relationships is like a slow burn but the plot is a fast burn & the plot starts in the beginning & goes all the way until the end. I loooved this book & im already on book 2. 

I feel like I was at disadvantage & was easily confused when reading this book because I’ve only read the previous 2 books in this series & Midas’s book. Other characters from her other books had their own chapters & took up a good portion of this book but because I wasn’t already familiar with their story it was kind of confusing HOWEVER this book still gets 4 stars from me based off the relationship between Seph & Kyan & that this book kind of wraps up the plots from the previous two books (& some of the plots from other books by this author). I will say Persephone did get on my nerves & I hate to tell her that I told her so in regards to her mama but she should’ve listened instead of making me mad 🙄😂 Anyway, I can’t wait for Messiah & Nichelles story cause they gotta get one because we lost on when they started messing around. 

WHAT AN ENDING 🤯 Ames Mills endings ALWAYS hit & this one was different. I feel like part 2 had a little bit more action in it then part 2 but I could be delusional 😂 I will say why I loved this book I will say I was disappointed in Axel & Chelsea towards the end. They were sooo gullible & it mad me extremely mad but it was still really good.
