Classic Dash and Lily. Can't believe I adore them so much still after all this time since the first book. This was a great conclusion to their stories. I didn't enjoy the second book much, but this book totally redeemed them.

I think I'll just read anything Rachel Cohn or David Levithan writes! Bravo!

This book was full of bad ass ladies. I felt so empowered, like I was part of the Sisters of Avalon too. I wanted to help their cause and stick it to the man. I loved the flower names given by their mothers, and I loved that the old nursery rhymes we all know were actually spells for the witches of a previous time.
I really enjoy witch lore, and this was a unique spin on witching.

However. This book was so long. It felt meandering at times, and the main characters were difficult to connect with on a emotional level in the beginning. I'm not sure if it's just my relationship with long books, where my mind begins to wonder when they will wrap it up, or if this book was too long. That's my only complaint.

Well done overall!

I absolutely adored this story! I loved Linh and Bảo's banter. I thought the feud between the restaurants and families made this book really entertaining and fun. The story went by quick, there were no slow parts. The way Linh encouraged Bảo to find and follow his passion was really inspiring for me.

I am so glad I listened to the audiobook, narrated by Vyvy Nguyen and Ryan Do. The vietnamese banter from the parental characters was so cute and I'm so glad I had the audio to properly pronounce the words for me. I feel like I understand vietnamese families a lot more now.

5 BIG FAT JUICY STARS FOR THE FAMILY UPSTAIRS!

Wow. What did I just read?! I'm not entirely sure but I loved every minute of it. This book was chosen as the March book for my book club. Having sectioned reading and weekly discussions really added to the mystery and charm of this book! I loved the anticipation, the weird content of this book and the timeline. I just loved it all!

I will be recommending this book to everyone I talk to for a very long time!!

The story is interesting. I loved the multiple POVs as well as the dual timeline. I enjoyed this story. That's all I've got to say!

I loved this sweet little audiobook! I'm so glad Lauren narrated it. Full of good advice and cute stories from her life.
