Thank you to NetGalley and St Martin's Press for the eARC of this amazing book in exchange for an honest review.
Sunshine Vicram might just be one of my favorite literary female leads of all time. She's sassy, smart, and full of drama! With quick dialogue that is very Gilmore Girls-esque, you can't help but love her! The relationship between Sunshine and her fiery red headed daughter Auri is a joy to read about. Auri is sassy just like her mom and she's got a fierce heart. I feel like I know them personally.
This is the second book the in Sunshine Vicram series. I was so excited to see it on the NetGalley website-I hadn't realized there would be more! Now that I'm finished with book 2 that ended on A MAJOR CLIFFHANGER..... there better be more to the story, Ms. Jones!!
A Good Day for Chardonnay truly had every little thing I need to deem this a good book.
Mystery? YES.
Sexual tension? YES.
Heart melting moments? YES.
Heart breaking moments? YES.
Unexpected steamy scene? YES!!
I laughed. I cried. I worried. I blushed.
I need book 3 immediately!

I read this for the 52 Book Club Reading Challenge 2021 prompt: Written by an author over 65 (when published)
This was my first Nora Roberts book. I know she's got the romance thing down and is working through mysteries now. The premise of this book was so intriguing to me.
I was hooked within the first hour of the Audiobook! January LaVoy did an amazing job with the narration. But after Cate was saved, I had a hard time with it. The first 15% of this book was so exciting and gripping that the rest fell a little flat. I didn't really care about Cate's life in New York at all and she just had it so easy. The ending got slightly more exciting, but all the excitement happened within the last 10 minutes of the audiobook.
Overall this was a good book, but not one I'd recommend to my friends or re read in the near future.

Hmmm where to start this review? Nothing about this book was inherently bad, but nothing spectacular either. I enjoyed this book but now that it's over I feel very "meh" about it. It was fine. I didn't enjoy it as much as "The Wives" by Tarryn Fisher.

Wow! This one was very eerie.
I had heard a lot of people compare this book to Baby Teeth, and I see why. A creepy little girl that has it out for her mommy.
Overall the tone of this book was quite flat, and I never fully got into it.

To say I love Rhett & Link is an understatement. I watch GMM every single day with my husband. We quote them, we buy their merch, and talk about them as if they're our close friends.
I have owned this book for quite some time, but I am just now getting to it. I loved the details on their friendship in the early days, as well as the dating section about their wives. I love their humor and this book was great. However it started to feel a little textbook-y and I struggled to finish it. Maybe it's because towards the end of the book was the more current Rhett and Link that everyone knows.
Overall I enjoyed this book but I don't think I'll be picking it up to reread anytime soon!
Ps-I could have personally done WITHOUT the 2 page spread about snakes

This book was just okay. I was going to give it 3 stars, but I bumped it up for one reason. This is the first romcom I've read that mentioned going to the bathroom after having sex. I wish more authors included that! It's an important step and I was glad it was written in.
Other than that, this book was pretty boring. It was slow. Their romance was so timid and personal I almost felt like I was a peeping tom in the window into someone else's life. I loved Jia in the other books of this series and I was hoping for more for her.

A fun, sex positive romcom?! YES PLEASE!
This book went places most romcoms don't dare go-or even mention! I really enjoyed it. Very steamy.
Logging it under the PopSugar Reading Challenge prompt: a book about art or an artist. (because Clara said what Josh does "art" and that he is an artist, but also Clara was an artist! hehehehehe)

What a great graphic novel! I really enjoyed Jordan, he is such a sweet kid. He dealt with some awkward and interesting situations very maturely for a middle schooler. So glad I found this book in a Little Free Library!

Solid mystery thriller! I wasn't sure where it was going most of the time. Nic was an unreliable narrator and Molly wasn't much better. I found Alice very interesting, that aspect made me think of Dear Child.
The ending was pretty quick, and wrapped up a bit too neatly. The audiobook had a preview of another book so I thought there was still 24 minutes left but there wasn't ☹️

A fun new twist on the Wild River series.
With a stalker, it added a sense of mystery and excitement that haven't been in the other books. I liked Leslie and the rance trope was a unique one I don't see often.
I waited a few months for this book and I'm so glad I got my hands on it!
