I'm so glad there's books like this! I love the queer representation, especially in high school students. All the moments that irked me I realized were because they're dumb high schoolers, I was also a dumb high schooler at one point in my life...... So 5 stars from me!!

This was the most perfect romance book! Enemies to lovers story with alcohol and cupcakes (and now I'm craving cupcakes ugh!) Ronan was super funny and cute the entire time, and Blaire was so relatable with her love for 50's dresses, hp trivia, and musicals! I will be recommending this book to everyone I know asap!

Wow! What a rollercoaster. I feel like I need to take some time to nap and process what just happened. That book was so full of action, deception, and strategy. I'm going to need to read the second one in a few months once my blood pressure returns back to normal

What did I just read??? I hate to say this but this book was terrible. The cover is so incredibly misleading, the main character -Everly/Daisy- was so unlikeable, and the entire story was so far fetched. Why did she go to the Amazon? Why is there a dog/sleigh/snow on the cover of this book? How did they fall in love in two weeks (when she was deathly ill for one of those weeks)? Why did she have two names? (I kind of know the answer to that, the book said she wanted a more professional sounding name than Daisy.....and she went with Everly????) What did Asher like about her? I still don't know the answers to any of these questions.

All I wanted was a quick cozy Christmas read and instead I got this.....

Perhaps I'm outgrowing Macomber books. The characters fell in love way too quickly it just seemed so unrealistic. They also seemed very old fashioned and prude. There was a dash of fat shaming towards the end as well.

I'm sorry to say this was NOT the book for me.

The story itself, along with the main character and her love interest get a 3.5, but the hilarious dates helped round this up to 4 stars!

I loved the wine tasting date. Totally cracked me up.
