Whaaaaaaaaat?!?!?

I don't typically enjoy lawyer novels but a friend suggested this to me so I gave it a shot. The ending was fantastic and I'm glad I stuck with it.

I found the premise of this book to be a lot like The Last Mrs Parrish from 2017. It wasn't until the last section of this book that it took a different direction and got really exciting.

I really enjoyed Stacey's story. I relate to her so much and her story made a lot of sense to me. I know some other reviews said she forgave him too quickly but I probably would have done the same thing. When you know it's right, you know. I'm excited for April's book!

Wow! I was rolling my eyes at yet another fake dating premise but Dani and Zaf make it impossible to hate! New favorite romcom!

Obviously this is a 5 star read! There hasn't been an Owens I didn't like. This series is so dear to my heart and this book did not disappoint. Full of magic, fierce smart women and adventure. Love love loved this book!!!

W O W !

I must say about 50% of the way through I thought to myself I just don't really enjoy Riley Sager books..... Until the end. How could I have possibly forgotten the flash bang wild endings he comes up with?! That ending was a rollercoaster that I loved every second of.

I could have done without the snakes, because as Indiana Jones once said "I hate snakes. I hate them so much. Why does it always have to be snakes?" They're my biggest phobia and even reading about them gives me the creeps. More than murderers, ghosts, or anything else.

Overall it was a good read just a bit slow for me in the beginning!
