I am loving this series!! I need to order the last few books ASAP!

I won this book in a giveaway here on goodreads! It was really good! Check it out, it is the sequel to captured by desire, which I loved soo much!!

I am a fan of Kira's writing for sure. I am going to check out some other books by her.

This book was amazing! I loved it so much. It was even better than the first one, which is no easy feat. I love that the people in these books are people from history (and mythology) I am a history nerd myself, so whenever a book incorporates anything historical I swoon a bit.

The storyline is action packed and fast paced. I like how they switch of between the main characters. Each chapter is from a different perspective and they rotate through the twins and flamel and pernelle. There are also chapters from Dee and Machiavelli's perspective as well. The author goes just far enough with each storyline to keep you interested and he always stops with you wanting more. Then he switches over to another person. I found this style very engrossing.

I love the magic and the creatures you meet in this series, and I cannot wait to read the next installment.

I am so worried that something is going to come between sophie and josh, and my fingers are crossed that nothing does.

One of the best books I have read in a while

This book was just ok. I liked it and if there are other books I would probably read them, but I this book didn't draw me completely into its world like other books have.

The idea of the book is an interesting one. It has a lot of potential. It is about teenagers that can "step" outside of their body. Because of this unique gift they are utilized as spy of sorts.

It was different than anything else I have read so I was really hopefully it would be a good action/suspense book. But there was not much character development or continuity. I felt like I was just kind of coasting along in their world. I was not very excited.

Maybe this book was just setting up the stage and future books will have more character development.

Great book. Fast paced, makes you want to keep reading. They introduce so many new characters that it is always interesting and intriguing.

This book made me want to learn so much more about the dark elders and I am DYING to find out who Dee's master is! I cant wait for the next book!

There will be spoilers. People probably know what they are though because this book has been out forever. I don't know why it took me forever to read this book. I really don't. It was amazing! I think this is a good time to pick up the series because the 4th book, City of Fallen Angels is coming out on April 5th.

I love the world that is created in these books is incredible. So interesting, it keeps you reading- you never want to stop.

I really enjoyed all the characters too; Jace is super yummy.

Im really glad that Alec started to come around to Clary by the end of the book, but I do wish the semi-niceness had happened earlier.

I have to say, I beyond hate that Clary and Jace are sister and brother. It kind of creeps me out and annoys me. That is my one complaint about the book. I'm going to try and get over it in the future books. But I am loving learning more about their world!

The book was fast paced, and original and the world is addicting. I need my next fix right now!

I'm not sure how this is possible, but I liked this book even more than the first one! I should say loved this book.

This world is addicting, and I am so glad that the fourth book is coming out soon. I have already started reading the 3rd book and I know that I will want the 4th one as soon as I am finished.

I think I fall more and more in love with Jace every chapter. I love the insight we have seen into his character through the short scenes in his POV. My only wish is that there were more Jace thoughts. I can't get enough of them.

Clary is an awesome protagonist, I see myself relating to her and I really like her spirit. The scene in the fey court was amazing! :)

I did not want to put this book down! There were no slow parts and no boring parts, just amazing parts.

I'll admit I was skeptical of this book at first. I did not think that I would like faerie books. For whatever reason, they did not seem interesting to me. But when this book was 99 cents on ibooks, I figured I would give it a shot.

I am so glad I did, because I thoroughly enjoyed this book and I know that I will like the series. This book was interesting and inventive.

It is about a girl, Ash, that can see the fair folk. She has kept this a secret her whole life but now they are taking an interest in her.

I really liked that Ash did not fall at the summer king's feet. I liked that she resisted him and stood up for herself. She is a very strong-willed, yet shy girl. I loved the balance of strength and fragility she displayed.

and I can't even begin to describe how much I love Seth. He took everything in stride and never seemed to be flustered. I cannot wait to see how their relationship grows in the other books.

I am interested to see what will happen to Donia next. I liked her more than I thought I would, and I hope my opinion of her does not lessen in the next book.

Of course I do hope Keenan takes more of an interest in Ash too because who doesn't like a good love triangle?

This should be a very promising series!

I am so excited that I finished this book just in time for the 4th one to be released. I have pre-ordered my copy! This series is incredible! City of Ashes was my favorite installment so far but I did love this one too.

I will admit there were a handful of scenes that I found myself skimming over; but only because I was so anxious to find out what was going to happen next.

You learn so much about Jace in this book, and I love that! He is such a great character. Clary too, but Jace is my favorite.

There are so many characters and new creatures and settings in this book. Cassandra Clare has really created a magnificent new world that I want to get lost in. I have not found another book world so complete since Harry Potter. I love when authors create their own universe. And she does such a great job with it too.

This book also kept me guessing. More than once, I caught myself being completely surprised by a turn of events. I did not want to put this book down, and yet I did not want to finish it. I would force myself to stop reading at points to try and stretch out the amount of time I could live inside the city of glass.

I love Cassandra Clare! This series has quickly climbed up the ranks of my favorite books of all time!

This book was really good and it definitely got me interested in reading the rest of the series. Really I would give it a 4.5 out of 5 stars.

The concept is interesting, all adults and teenagers over the age of 14 just vanished from this California town one morning and all the kids of the town were left to figure out what is going on. Throw in barrier completely surrounding the town, kids with strange new powers developing and creepy mutating animals and you have a very interesting book to say the least.

I liked how they tried to re-build their own little community and some of the older kids took "jobs" running different areas. It made it seem realistic that they had to set up a daycare for all the babies that obviously could not look after themselves. I liked that the author thought about those details.

I liked the characters in the book, and I disliked the bad one, but my problem is that I didn't love anyone. That is really my only complaint. Sam, the main character that all of the kids look to as their leader, was nice and smart enough but I felt like he was missing something for me. Maybe he will show some character growth in the next book.

But the plot is really, really good. I am intrigued. I want to figure out what is causing the "poof" of people 15 and above. and I want to figure out where all the people go after they Poof. I hope we dont have to wait till the last book to get some answers.
