A twisted tale of a psychotherapist takes a job at a failing clinic to help a woman who has been silent since the night she was accused of killing her husband six years prior.
This a really quick and easy read that you wanted to keep on reading. I did see the end coming just before it was revealed but I think that’s because I have watched too many episodes of criminal minds

This book is full of interesting studies and facts to help you understand why you are being distracted and gives you simple solutions to help improve how you spend the time you have.

I would recommend this to anyone who is struggling with high screen time or work/life balance. It is really relatable and non-judgemental, the author himself admits to falling victim of so many of the struggles that we face today such as checking social media when spending time with his child. A lot of the findings really resonated with me especially the part about lying awake at night stressing about not being able to get back to sleep! I have put Nir words in to effect and now those hours at 2am are not full of stress and I fall back to sleep much quicker!

The story of a Goddess who is punished and cast out to live alone. There are many ties to the more famous Greek characters and an attempt to link a-lot of them together which I thought was clever but over all I didn’t really rate this book. I normally love mythological stories but I found this hard to get into, maybe it was because it had so many fantastic reviews and so I had already decided it was going to be brilliant.

I am I am I am in awe of Maggie O’Farrell what a beautifully written memoir, so honest and raw. O’Farrell shares with us some very personal experiences and near death encounters.

I loved that the book wasn’t written in chronological order, it felt like you were just dipping in and out of her life.

I will definitely be reading more of her work!

This is the story of how a young girl who survives a house fire that kills her parents and cousin moves on with her life after the fire. I got so involved in the story that I read it in a night.

The story line was easy to follow and the emotions felt real and raw. a very good piece of YA writing that I would recommend to friends. It also opened my eyes as to how we treat people with visual disfigurements and has made me more aware of what approaches are preferred.

This is a dual memoir of the murderinos who created the awesome podcast “my favourite murder”. Written in a quirky talking to you style which I have enjoyed.

I thought there would be a lot more of the true crime element from the podcast, I didn’t realise this was such a self-help focused book.

Finally finished my first King novel and I don’t even know where to begin!
So I guess I will start with saying that this is not what I would call a horror. It’s a thriller with supernatural elements.

A story of young love developing at the hardest of times.

I really wanted to enjoy this as it was a great premise and I loved that it was set over just one day but I just couldn't get invested in the characters. I think it was a combination of not having a developed enough back story and not being give a reason as to why they get death notifications. Having said that it was easy to read and was a nice tick for the pop sugar challenge 2019
