Love it!!!

I only have the previous book four stars as despite loving the sinful ladies I thought it was lacking and was worried that the series was running out of steam. I have never been more pleased about being wrong! This was full of the twists and turns Jana spoils us with and best of all, plenty of laugh out loud moments! Can’t wait for the next one :)

Nice, fun, summer read. There are some serious and sad moments (of course there is the girls mother has died for one!) but the book is mainly about making the most of life and how we misunderstand situations based on our own worries and preconceived ideas.
Writing from the three perspectives helps you understand all sides of the story, one minute you might be feeling sorry for Dee and then you read Roses side and you understand. It is a nice reminder that you should hear both sides before passing judgement

Very touching children’s story of a horses life though war time

This is four short stories (rather than one continuous story, you do see character cross over but they are ultimately separate stories) about people desire to go back to the past. At a little café you get the chance to do so by sitting in a particular chair drinking coffee (while its hot!)

It is a lovely idea and the stories are quick and easy to read but I felt that there was a lot of unnecessary page filler and I'm wondering if this is down to translation.

It was a good insight into how rich people live and the way their society works and I guess it does make you glad your not mega rich (something I never expected to say) but the ending was not believable and I just don’t feel like it was much of a story.

Highlighted some interesting topics that I wasn’t aware of and was well written but didn’t really connect with any of the characters so took longer to read.

Yet another brilliant novel in the Kim Stone series! Sometimes I can work out who it’s going to be but this one was a complete surprise.
