This is a story of a newly ordained vicar getting the chance to look after her first parish in a small village with some small mysteries along the way.

I didn’t really enjoy the book but I didn’t hate it, it’s an easy summer read. I think it felt like it was trying to leave too many options open in case the author wanted to choose a different ending. Some characters were really built up and some weren’t who should have been, like the daughter. *just read some other reviews and it looks like the author has written about these characters before so that might explain it*
There were still quite a few grammatical and spelling errors throughout the book too which was annoying.

The second instalment in the life of Lou Clark. It was a lovely read and Jojo moyes writes so well you are instantly drawn into the character and plot but this just wasn’t as good as the first one for me, maybe I should have left a little time between reading the first and the second one.

Basically a story that tells some of the struggles of motherhood.

There were some part that made me laugh but I wasn't invested in any of the characters which made it a struggle to read and, as a mother, didn't find a lot of it believable. The title is also misleading as you don't hear anything about a book club until 40% into the book and then its not essential to the plot.

As a new mum I thought this book would be completely relatable and funny but I felt really let down by it and couldn’t even finish it.

This is overall a good thriller but the writing felt clumsy and I'm not sure whether that was down to the translation or not. There was also a shift in time and character to follow right from the start which was difficult as you weren't sure why you were seeing different characters (normally when you use past and present as chapter switches they are to show the progression of one character).

I have literally no idea what I have just read! I thought the idea of telling the story of a break up from the items that were left on the last joint shopping list was a really good idea and so I was excited to read this but it was just seriously confused and didn't really pull the items from the list into the story at all!

Another great instalment in the Shaye Archer series, throughly enjoyed it but fell a little short of expectations compared to the previous books. Still worth reading and won’t put me off getting the next instalment as soon as it comes out!

Enjoyable read and makes me like Anna even more!
