Read from a friends recommendation, would not bother recommending to anyone else. Felt long winded and although you do read it quickly as you want to know what happens your left feeling like it could have been told a lot quicker. I know that could be said about all books but I think if the author gets you to read their book without realising that then they have done their job well. This is not one of those books.
I can’t quiet work this one out. I LOVED shadow of the wind and so was excited to read this but I’m still not sure if it’s as ghost story or not! But the fact that I’m still thinking about it after I have finished is always good in my opinion as the book has really got you!
This was a very real and rather harrowing tale not for the those who like an easy read! But the writing was good and I wanted to read on to find out what happened.
The day we meet again centres around two characters who meet at St Pancreas station when their trains are delayed. There is an connection between the two, but they are going in different directions so they decide to meet again in a years time if they feel the same way.
The writing was lovely and you could really see the scenes that she was trying to create but I did feel like this was a little too drawn out. Its a nice summer read but could have been slightly shorter.

This a tale of how friends become family and a lesson on avoiding isolating yourself. It used the life of a woman living/running a business in London to cover a variety of serious topics such as mental health, addiction, bereavement etc whilest still having some light hearted and amusing moments.
Overall I found the story enjoyable and well written but slightly to staged in places - so many slight misunderstandings that cause a ripple!
Would recommend to a friend for a summer read.
