I really am enjoying how these novellas are playing out. I thought each book would focus on only one guy, but we get all their stories overlapping. Yes, each book does have one guy where there is more focus, but we still get to follow all four throughout, which is nice.

I really enjoyed Wade's journey to finding himself.

Really thought this book was great. It's all about cosplayers and it's a great coming out story without too much conflict. The ending felt a tad rushed but that's okay. Also, if you love Sailor Moon, you will love all the references Ryan puts into this one. A must read!

This is a very dark story about childhood trauma and the darker aspects of being a child. It's a really great story and puts into perspective how a child views the world and what is important to them and what's going on around them. The art style and story telling is reminiscent of Junji Ito, realistic but dark.

This book was a trip. It was a little heavy with metaphors and similes, but I liked the overall magical surrealism of the book. It was a perfect trip into someone's psyche. It made me think of The Heathers, Mean Girls, and the Craft all in one.

A good read overall.

This one took me a bit longer to get through, due to lazyness, but not because it was boring in anyway. I love Daryl's books so these bite size versions were very nice. A nice place to settle in between books.

All the stories are really good, fun set ups for NSFW movies, but the characters are just as loveable as all his others. The stories are more NSFW and have very different scenarios, so you get a good variety here.

This was a really sweet one. Very little drama but more honest conversations about a May-December romance. The slight BDSM aspect was a fun addition :)

The only really tricky part for me was the setting and how it was being described at times that really messed me up.

Aside from that, I really enjoyed the idea and premise. I had to keep in mind it is a short story and not a full novel so things are going to be left untouched and it does add to the mystery.

Circuses don't scare me so this didn't have much of a creepy factor for me, but I still enjoyed it.

I really thought this second installment was a lot of fun in the series. There wasn't as much fluff as their was in the first, but that tends to happen just so we understand everything better. However, the story was well done, kept me guessing and I liked watching the characters move on with their lives. The reveal is actually more of a twist that I expected.

I actually really enjoyed this story. Is it depraved, gross and vile? Absolutely. What else could we expect from Judith.

However, if you dig beneath the surface, it's also a story about a mother and her love for her children. There's so much emotion in the story that it's almost sweet. The mom has such Mama Bear ideology that it's sweet and heartbreaking what she has to go through.

Sidebar: If you have the paperback and have the additional side story...just yuck
