Aron does not disappoint, per usual. This was a good revenge novel, and I liked how the main character developed quickly. I also enjoyed the slight insanity both the MC and antagonist seemed to have, but somehow, the ending was still sweet... in its own twisted AB way.

Talia returns in a great sequel. I loved seeing Talia's methods and movements evolve as she evolved. I felt everyone deserved exactly what they deserved in this book and I hope Daniel continues Talia's tales.

This was truly a truly experience and not one I expected. I had a different idea of what to expect having only read Full Brutal before but I really enjoyed this. The going back and forth between memories was very interesting. I do feel the MC did not get what she deserved but it is what it is.

One of my favorite book series and I am really glad to be re-visiting it. This is the shortest of the books, but really helps set the tone for the rest of the series.

This was a fun mystery, but the beginning was so slow that I didn't think I would get through it, but that quickly changed after a specific thing was found. The story then goes from 0-100 real quick, and the reading goes much quicker, and the story picks up. Once more evidence is introduced, the story becomes much more exciting.

I don't know if I'll pick up the second one, but this ride was still interesting. If you like Agatha Christie, then you'll enjoy this at least for the mystery aspect.

I really loved how this book changed what would happen over a few more of the books. I really liked the idea of misnomers. This was another really good chance for the children to show what they were made of and just how cruel Count Olaf can be.

This has always been one of my favorites in the series. I love the focus on Grammar, especially since Snicket teaches so much grammar in his books, I think it's fun to incorporate it into the stories. This book gets even more dark than the previous and you realize Uncle Monty was as good as it was going to get.

This book definitely has a different feel to it, since circumstances have gotten worse and Count Olaf isn't a significant player like normal, but it's still an interesting part of the story. This is also where the story starts to take on a longer plot feel than individual stories.

And the entire story starts to unfold! The three most important letters in this story finally get spoken and it's in this book where a much bigger story unfolds. This is one of my favorite of the series.

I really like how the trope is expanding but Akzo more of the bigger picture comes into play in this one.
