Powerful
Cried through the whole end of this book - not because it was sad but because it gave me "all of the feels". Very evocative - some lines and messages that will stay with me for a long time. An important read for young people everywhere I would suggest. My favourite line was, I think, "And I think about all the things we could be/ If we were never told our bodies were not built for them".

Loved it
Really enjoyed this - everything about it but especially the characters. It would probably be a 5 star rating for me but I feel like I was meant to be more moved by the plane and landing/coming home than I actually was!

Surprised me
I would not say that this book really matched in any way what I expected from the blurb. I enjoyed the narrative jumps to bring the reader forward but I think the most surprising thing for me was the realness, gravitas and sometimes shocking turns that familial and romantic relationships took throughout the novel. Well worth a read.

Took me by surprise
Really enjoyed this book - was recommended it by a friend and was uncertain at the start. As soon as I got used to the terminology and characters I was completely sucked in. Loved the concept, imagery, setting and the twists and turns of the plot. I hope there is a sequel in progress!

Weird!
Engaging and easy to read but very weird and very frustrating. Found it ridiculous and unbelievable but I think that was the beauty of it. There isn't much I wouldn't do for my sister but I'm uncertain if it would stretch to this!

A bit of an emotional slog
This book will really make you think- about your career, personality but especially your marriage. I found that a bit emotionally taxing and could never really buy into the story. The narration is a little strange.

Exactly what I needed today!
As thoughtful and perfectly predictable as the other books in this series - didn't enjoy this one quote as much as the Tokyo one but it was still the feel good, warming read i needed for an autumn day wrapped in the cold!

Disappointingly Twee
This was highly recommended and I really enjoyed the narrative structure but as a supernatural skeptic I found the coincidences a bit twee. Some beautiful relationships and characters but I feel no loss was truly explored in a heartfelt way and no character was quite vibrant enough to root for. I would have read 100 short stories of how people lost things instead of the actual story - they were the highlights for me :)

Fun and surprising!
Wasn't sure what to expect going in to read this book- but I found myself, like Cora, not knowing who to trust. There are enough characters that the plot is mysterious but not too many it is confusing. Some excellent surprises and twists along the way. Would recommend!
