He's No Good For You is book two in the series and features Garrett, who is first introduced in book 1.

Sloane is beautiful and smart. She doesn’t really date, well she tries but it never really works out for her. When she first see’s Garrett there is an attraction, but she doesn’t think that he would ever be interested in someone like her. With a little push from Callie (who you meet in book one and is Garrett’s ex stepdaughter) she takes the chance. Garrett is a gym owner and was also involved in adult entertainment in the past. He is also instantly attracted to Sloane when he see’s her, yet doesn’t think a woman with two PhD’s will be interested in him.

I loved the chemistry between Sloane and Garrett. There is plenty of passion between the two of them. There are some issues when it comes to their relationship and they could have easily been resolved if Sloane had mentioned to Garrett that she is autistic versus keeping that information from him.

The heat level in this book is off the charts. There is plenty of steam between Sloane and Garrett, but they also bring others in to join and there is plenty more steam there.

If you’re looking for a steamy, erotic, fast paced novella this is one to check out.

This is such a fun, sweet story. Dex is returning back to his hometown for his sister’s wedding, but needs a buffer so he makes a deal with Teyona, who he had just met. She can’t refuse his offer because it will help her achieve her goals.

I loved Dex from the moment he was introduced in the first book and Teyona is the perfect woman for him. The two of them come from different backgrounds, but they balance each other out and have and instant connection. I loved seeing their relationship shift from strangers to fake dating to the real feelings that developed the more time the spent together.

If you’re looking for a fake dating, modern fairytale retelling this is one to read.

Devyn and Aaron’s story was an emotional one that is full of secrets. I completely fell in love with these two from the start. There is so much pain in their pasts and it is a pain that they both share and can help each other with. It feels as if they were meant to meet and their paths were meant to cross.

I loved Devyn. She is trying to start over while hiding her past at the same time. You can’t help but feel for her and also want her to find the happiness she truly deserves throughout the story. I also loved Aaron. He also had a past and it isn’t something that he has really ever opened up about, especially to his own family.

There is an instant connection between Devyn and Aaron. They both see something in the other and are drawn to each other. I love what once the truth comes out neither of them run, instead Aaron does everything he can to help Devyn and to be there for her when no one else has. There is no doubt that these two are perfect for each other.

There were so many sweet, beautiful, emotional and steamy moments throughout this story. It was great to return to Devil’s Horn Ranch and get updates on Maddox and Andie, see the Pearce family again, and get a little bit of Aaron’s guardian angel.

It can be read as a complete standalone, but I highly recommend reading the original book White Lilies (Aaron’s parents story) and Texas Orchids first.

If you’re looking for a small town, emotional romance full of secrets this is one to read!

Zia has lead a sheltered life thanks to her parents. Henry is all about adventure. Thanks to Henry, Zia has the opportunity to have one night to have fun and experience life.

I loved the connection between Zia and Henry. It is instant from the start, however, Zia is hesitant on taking things any further between them because of her parents. Though, despite their fast connection it isn’t smooth sailing and there are plenty of bumps in the road that they have to overcome along the way.

This story was a fun, light read with a few ups and downs along the way. Plus, it was fun to get some more of previous couples and of course, more of the guys throughout the story.

If you’re looking for a modern take on Rapunzel this is one to check out.

I LOVED book one in this series, which is where Megan was first introduced. She was returned back to Black River Falls after the sudden loss of her uncle and her family’s bakery. Now that she is back in town, she wants to rebuild it, only someone else has other plans for Megan.

I felt for Megan. She lost both of her parents tragically as a baby, her town is plagued is mystery and now she lost her uncle who raised her and the bakery where she grew up. The one good thing is she still had her aunt who also raised her. Things are good when she returns to town, she meets someone, they go on dates, then the texts start coming, the mysterious flowers start showing up. The question is who is this mystery person?

I was completely sucked into the story. I wanted to know who unknown was, why were they so infatuated with Megan and just what on earth is going on in the crazy town of Black River Falls. This was intense and as the story unfolded became even more intense right up until the very end and then I had to pick my jaw right off the floor because I need more answers!!

Untold Love is full of suspense, drama, some romance and LOADS of secrets. A MUST READ and I can’t wait to get some answer in book three!

Refuge

Audrey goes where the cards take her and this time it is leading her and her daughter, Love, to Dixie Point, Alabama to help her friend Bristol. Conner grew up in Dixie Point, but since the loss of his wife his focus has been his job and his daughter, Jade. Yet, the moment he sees Audrey there is an instant connection. There is something about her that he is drawn to.

Audrey and Conner have fantastic chemistry from the moment they meet. They are drawn together, and it helps that their daughters have quickly become best friends, too. They both have walls up around their hearts, so there is a little fighting when it comes to attraction and some insecurities. I loved the relationship both Audrey and Conner had with their daughters, it was fun and endearing. Plus, the girl’s friendship was fun and like any teenagers would do they try to force their parents together.

Haven

Selina left her small town to achieve her ballet dreams, she also left behind her high school sweetheart Vance. However, after an injury she is back in her hometown and waiting for a second chance at her dream and Vance is waiting for a second chance with his dream woman.

I loved the chemistry between Vance and Selina. Even after years apart and a heartbreak you can still feel the love between them. From start to finish their story is truly beautiful and emotional. I loved that Vance never gave up on Selina and their relationship over the years. He knew that she was always the one from him and it was just about getting her to see how perfect they truly are together.

I adored this story. I loved Tag, loved Maddie and I LOVED sweet little Gigi.

My heart broke for Maddie’s story and everything she went through. You can see how it has affected her entire life. Her sole focus is her business and her daughter. Until she meets Tag and her world is turned upside down. Tag is a playboy, he doesn’t do relationships, he doesn’t like kids. But there is also a lot more to him than what you get on the surface.

Maddie and Tag knew of each other because they are both from Calloway Creek and Maddie knew of Tag’s reputation when he turned up as the man she was meeting from a hook up app. There was chemistry between them from the start. I love that Tag was instantly drawn to Maddie and felt protective over her. He also wanted to help her come out of the shell she had been living in since a horrible accident five years prior.

There is a lot to this story and it was emotional, beautiful, sweet, swoony and just heartwarming at times. Tag and Maddie had to work hard and overcome a lot throughout the course of this book but the two of them deserved nothing but happiness.

If you’re looking for a grumpy hero, single mom romance this is one to check out.

A rockstar, a party girl, and one night. Harlow and Linc were so wonderfully damaged and complex. You a feel the connection between them, they are drawn to each other. Their chemistry is off the charts.

I loved Harlow. She was a child actor who was made to be the villain in the industry. She became a party girl and enjoys the high. Linc is in a band, living in the shadow of his brother. He is talented in his own right.

This story is addictive. The characters are captivating. I love them and I am dying for more of them.

Phew this is a spicy story that will keep you warm on the cold winter nights!

Celia was an innocent college student, until her sister was kidnapped and she was forced to move and do whatever she was told in order to keep her sister safe. While still innocent, she was also more confident. I loved her growth throughout the story.

Salvatore, Antonio, and Matteo were three powerful men. They were also insanely drawn to Celia from the start, even if they were more curious about why she was asking around about them and trying to get information. I love how instantly protective they were of her and how she really balanced them all out. The dynamic between the three men was interesting and I was kind of hoping that would have been explored a little bit more throughout this story.

Celia and the men had insane chemistry. She had a different connection with each of them and they all just really worked together.

I wasn’t expecting this story to end of a semi cliffhanger, but I’m definitely intrigued to see what is coming next.
