This is such a fun, sweet story. Dex is returning back to his hometown for his sister’s wedding, but needs a buffer so he makes a deal with Teyona, who he had just met. She can’t refuse his offer because it will help her achieve her goals.

I loved Dex from the moment he was introduced in the first book and Teyona is the perfect woman for him. The two of them come from different backgrounds, but they balance each other out and have and instant connection. I loved seeing their relationship shift from strangers to fake dating to the real feelings that developed the more time the spent together.
