I have been dying for this book since the moment I finished Blood of Zeus. Meredith Wild and Angel Payne completely knocked it out of the park with the second book in this series. The moment it starts you are transported right back to where things left off for Maximus and Kara and from there it is an never ending ride that will have you on the edge of your seat the entire time.

More secrets are revealed. We get more family. More mythology. A connection between Maximus and Kara that is only growing deeper and deeper. Their relationship should be forbidden. A demigod and a demon. One belongs to the heavens and the other to hell, yet their chemistry is explosive. Their love is beautiful.

If you haven’t started this series I HIGHLY recommend it, even if paranormal romance isn’t your thing, you will still love this story and get lost in the world that Meredith Wild and Angel Payne have so beautifully created. I can’t wait to see how their story continues in book 3!

Hazel and Gabriel are bringing the heat this winter!!!! I loved their story. It was steamy, it was emotional and I couldn’t put it down.

Hazel has been crushing on her dad’s best friend for years and now that she is about to leave for college, she is willing to take the risk and see if he feels the same. They are drawn to each other and there is now denying that these two have insane amounts of chemistry. However, Gabriel has unique interests and they aren’t for everyone.

I LOVE Gabriel. He is a merciless businessman and that extends to other interests of his. Hazel is the opposite. She is sweet and has an innocence to her. They are like fire and ice, but they are so perfect together. Naturally Gabriel is hesitant when it comes to anything with Hazel, because of his close relationship with her father, but he can’t stay away.

I loved the chemistry. I loved the emotion. I loved the drama. I loved everything about Gabriel and Hazel’s story.

If you’re looking for a steamy, age gap, forbidden, dad’s best friend romance this is definitely a MUST READ!

Take Me Away had me feeling EVERYTHING. I cried sad tears, I cried happy tears, I laughed, I smiled and I fell in love with Nolan and Linnzi’s beautiful, emotional story.

This is hands down my favorite book of the Southern Brides series and my favorite Kelly Elliott book to date. The moment I started this book I couldn’t put it down. This story captivated me, it made my heart ache. There is just so much emotion in this story and it is so beautifully written.
Nolan and Linnzi were childhood sweethearts, they had a great life together until one accident forever changed their lives. I loved Nolan. My heart broke for him and everything he had experienced in a short amount of time and never really had the closure he needed or the time to grieve, yet he still made a major sacrifice that I don’t believe many people could do. Linnzi, my heart broke for her, too. I loved her. She is strong for everything she experienced, even if it takes some time for her to realize that. Their chemistry is amazing. Their love for one another is for forever. Their souls know each other. It was truly magical.

If you’re looking for a small town, second chance between two soulmates romance that will have you feeling every single emotion this one is a MUST READ and hands down one of my favorite Kelly Elliott books!

Like It’s 1999 is such a fun NYE novella that spans a decade and will have you laughing.

I adored Alice and Steve, even though it took them a long time to come to the realization how perfect they are for each other. From the moment they meet on New Years Eve in 1988 there is a connection and with each passing year that connection continues to grow.

Throw in some fun references from the times and this book will have you wanting to transport back in time and laugh out loud the whole way through.

Sheriff’s Secret is the perfect mixture of steam, suspense, romance and emotions.

Jaxson Bell is the town sheriff, but he is also hiding who is truly is. Dante Kincaid is a big city man and the new guy in Brigs Ferry Bay. Jaxson is harboring a secret crush from the past on his childhood best friend, Kian, however, he doesn’t feel like it is something he’ll ever be able to explore more of thanks to his position of sheriff and wanting to please his father. However, the moment he meets Dante things change and it was only supposed to be one weekend.

I loved the chemistry between Jax and Dante. I love that they are both somewhat of the alpha male type, but they also are both caregivers. There are so many hot and heavy moments between them, but also tender moments that will melt your heart. While Dante is out, Jax is not and they agree to have a secret relationship, but the more time they spend together, the more the learn about the other and the walls start to crumble.

This story was beautiful and emotional. Jax feeling like he had to hide him true self was heartbreaking, but given the events in the town was heartbreaking, but also reality for many people. Dante was supportive of Jax, even though he didn’t like having to hide.

I fell in love with the town of Brigs Ferry Bay and all the people who live there. I can’t wait to return and fall more in love with these characters and this series. A MUST READ!

New Year’s Renovation is a fun novella. Harper is newly single and found out she inherited an estate from an aunt she never met in a town she has never heard of. Jackson left his professional hockey career to move to Starlight Bay when his mom got sick, now he is running the family construction company with his brother.

Harper and Jackson had an instant connection and I loved it. He was hired to renovate the home she inherited and now they are working together. There were plenty of times I was laughing, I was swoony and just smiling.

If HGTV and Hallmark were to ever create a home reno show New Year’s Renovation would be it! If you’re looking for a quick, fun read this is one to check out!

Dark is the second book in the Dangerous Web series and the second book of Reid and Lorna’s story. This one picks up right where things left off in Dusk, so you must read that first before continuing with Dark.

This one was full of more twists and turns, more of Lorna’s emotional and heartbreaking past. Which her past can be a trigger for some as it features some sensitive subject matter. It completely broke my heart and the fact that she never mentioned it to a soul and has been hiding that for so many years. I love that Reid is there for Lorna, he is supportive, he wants to help her, but he also wants to know who kidnapped her and seek revenge.

More secrets come to light, there were more twists and turns and of course a cliff hanger that will leave you wanting to know what is going to happen next. I can’t wait to see where Reid and Lorna’s story goes and if all the truths will be revealed.

I loved Jessica and Tyler’s story. Wicked Little Thing has a great mixture of suspense and romance. I couldn’t put the book down.

Jessica and Tyler come from two different lives, yet they have formed a friendship and a connection to each other. They have a great connection with each other and have grown to support each other. They have amazing chemistry and the love and support they have for one another is amazing. I loved that Jessica gave Tyler’s life a sense of normalcy and Tyler gave Jessica the dream she thought she’d never have.

I loved getting back to the Sapphires, because I love this crew and I can’t wait for more of them in the future.

If you’re looking for a MC romance that has a great mixture of suspense and romance and is a quick read this is one to check out!

The Bloody Business Boxset is a MUST READ. Each of these books will take you on an emotional journey and have you falling in love with these characters for the very beginning. The flow of each of the stories is amazing and each one will captivate you.

Remy and Bev have amazing chemistry and I couldn’t get enough of their relationship. Their entire story is a wild ride. Remy may be a head of the family but that man is swoony. Bev is just a BA, strong woman and I love that she isn’t afraid to speak up against Remy.

Laney, Jesse and Donatello will pull the heartstrings, they will frustrate you like there is no tomorrow and they will have you pulling your hair out in frustration but it was worth it in the end.
The extended epilogue is EVERYTHING. It perfectly wraps up the entire series and provides closure to everyone’s stories.

If you’re looking for a collection of stories that includes romantic suspense, age gap, love triangles and forbidden love this is definitely one to check out!

The Memory of Us is a book that will have you pulling an all nighter. This story will captivate, it will suck you in, it will take you on an emotional ride that you’ll never want to end. Claire Raye wrote a beautiful, emotional romance about how twelve hours with one person can forever change your life.

The story is split into three parts. Part one is Nora’s POV, part two is Elliot’s POV and part three is a dual POV. The Memory of Us spans a decade, the undeniable connection between Nora and Elliot is so strong. Their romance is epic. It is one that is truly standing the test of time, even though throughout all the time searching for each other time was never on their side.

I loved Nora’s relationship with her sister, Alice. They acted like any sisters would. They bicker, they fight, they support each other and they love each other. Alice was one of my favorite secondary characters, even though she started out as a spicy disaster I loved her and the gift she gave to Nora.

The Memory of Us is full of chemistry, emotions, laughs, frustration because of all the missed chances, love, hope, and an epic love. This story is written in a way that you’ll feel deep in your soul. You’ll feel the pain and heartache of these characters and all the emotions. This story is a MUST READ and hands down one of my all time favorites from Claire Raye.
