I LOVE the Wynn family and all their nuttiness. The more of this series I read the more, the more I fall in love. Game Changer is my favorite book out of this series to date.

Jax is a Wynn, however, he doesn’t want to play for either of his family’s teams. He wants to do this on his own. Molly is about to get married to a hockey player, until she reads some texts in the middle of the ceremony and walks out. Her and Jax are friends, even though her ex is his teammate, they are trivia partners. I love the easy-going vibe of their friendship. They have so much in common. They both push each other to open up and get out of their shells.

I loved how naturally their relationship progressed, how Jax’s family instantly bonded with Molly. Molly’s friends were also supportive of her choices. Jax is also super supportive when it comes to Molly. He can’t tell her no, you can feel how much he cares for her and just wants her to be happy.

Game Changer is steamy, sweet and full of Wynn family nuttiness. It can be read as a standalone, however, I highly recommend reading the rest of the series to get all the Wynn family drama. A MUST READ hockey romance!

Accidentally Family is all about love and second chances. This book is emotional, a few pages in and I said out loud to myself “I hate this because it’s already making me cry” and I knew if the beginning was that emotional the whole story would just shatter me and it did. Once I started this book I really couldn’t put it down, I became so invested in the story and the lives of all the characters.

I loved that this story included point of views and inner thoughts of all the characters, there wasn’t just a sole focus on one or the other. Each character was going through something, from the adults to the children. Everyone was struggling with something in their life, a betrayal of some sort. Two families were broken, but found a way to work together, to have a second chance at love.

Accidentally Family is an emotional story that will have you crying, laughing, and falling in love with everyone involved. I completely fell in love with these characters, this blended family and the entire town of Pecan Valley. I’m hoping there is more of this group in the future, because this book was a MUST READ and I’m hooked.

Ky see’s Blake in the airport, waiting to board a 15 hour flight to Sydney, and from that moment he works his magic to make sure they are sitting next to each other on the flight. Can he charm this stranger in a short amount of time?

I LOVED the banter between the two of them, especially on the flight. Blake could give back as good as she got from Ky and it was hilarious. There was a great connection and chemistry between Ky and Blake from the start and as the story progressed it only got better. I was completely hooked on these two and their relationship. I also love the relationship between Ky and his cousin, Chance (the OG CB) plus Aubrey and the kids.

Master Manipulator is full of laughs, some angst, a lot of emotions, plus some unexpected plot twists. Whether you’re familiar with the Cocky Hero world or not this one is a MUST READ!

The more I read from Claire Raye the more I completely fall in love with their writing and stories. They don’t shy away from societal issues, they write strong women who aren’t afraid to stand up and shout from the rooftops. Alexa is no exception to this and she may be my favorite Claire Raye heroine to date.

Alexa is a captain, a damn good one, however, she has a reputation among her peers. Jake is a first officer, former Air Force member and not afraid of a strong woman. I love how well these two characters balance each other and support each other. From the moment they met there was a connection and I loved that Jake was able to slowly get Alexa to lower her walls and relax, even though she has sworn off men and has some issues with them after her divorce.

I’ve got a MASSIVE girl crush on Alexa. She is kicking booty in a male dominated career and she helps young girls who are interested in flying. She is a role model to any woman out there. I was cheering her on during a certain bar scene (you’ll know what I’m talking about when you read it) and for fighting for equality in the workplace. Jake, well how can you not love an Aussie?! Seriously, he is swoony and supportive and isn’t afraid to stand up and support Alexa. He also rents an entire theater to watch The Fast and The Furious, YES PLEASE! Sign me up! There were so many sweet moments, emotional moments, and some heat. Plus a little cameo from Carter (Playboy Pilot) and I ADORED the girls in Alexa’s flight school, especially sassy Sofia.

Honestly, I could go on forever about how amazing this book is, how much I love Alexa and Jake, and Claire Raye’s writing. This is just one book you’ll have to read. It is a MUST READ and one of my TOP BOOKS of 2020.

I HIGHLY recommend reading both My Heart and My Life before jumping into My Girl because the previous books will provide a lot of the background into the characters and the overall story. That being said My Girl was FANTASTIC and NOTHING like I was expecting. I went into the story thinking it would end a certain way, then when I started reading, I slightly changed my mind, then back to my original thought. Needless to say, I was constantly guessing the entire way through.

Delaney is with Donatello, the man she has wanted for years. Jessie is her best friend and source of comfort for her when times were tough. However, there is something more there. Delaney has chemistry with Donatello and Jessie, she loves both men, she wants both me, but which one will ultimately win the girl?

This one has been my favorite of the entire series. I loved that there were some scenes with Remy and Bev and their family. It had me guessing, on the edge of my seat, laughing, and getting emotional. I loved every single moment of this story and I wasn’t ready for it to end.

If you love Mafia romances check out the Bloody Business series, because it is a MUST READ!

I love modern takes on Romeo and Juliet. Prince of Hearts was just that with a little darkness. The moment I started reading this book I was hooked and couldn’t put it down.

I loved Ari and Nicco’s relationship, their chemistry, just everything about them. Of course, they are from rival families. Families that can’t stand each other. Ari has been sheltered her entire life, her father kept her locked away and many people believed she was dead. Nicco is active when it comes to his family. They meet and are drawn to each other, however, Nicco has no idea who Ari really is. However, secrets don’t stay hidden for long and this is were the story picks up and takes you for a wild ride.

I wasn’t expecting this book to take me for such a wild, emotional ride but it does. I was hooked. L.A. Cotton has created a dark retelling of Romeo and Juliet that is intense from the very start. Prince of Hearts is the first book in a duet, so it does end on a cliffhanger. I am DYING to see what is going to happen next for Ari and Nicco.

Prince of Hearts is a MUST READ.

If you’re looking for a heat filled, quick read then One Night Only is just what you’re looking for.

Ivy Carmichael is a hotel owner. She is working hard to revamp her hotel. Callum is her bodyguard. He will do anything to protect Ivy. Ivy and Callum are attracted to each other, however, they both feel the other is off limits. Until they give themselves one night to give into their attraction. Will one night be enough?

Ivy and Callum’s chemistry is OFF THE CHARTS. Seriously, these two are explosive. There is a forbidden aspect to their relationship, since he was hired to protect her. Of course, Ivy doesn’t like doing things the vanilla way and Callum knows this (thanks to internet browser history). Add in a night with Callum’s Rockstar best friend, Stone, and there is some kindle melting scenes!
One Night Only also gives a glimpse into Ivy’s sister, Sage, and Callum’s best friend, Stone, who will be featured in future books.

One Night Only is another great addition to the Lauren Blakely After Dark collection and a MUST READ!

This. Book. Is. Amazing. The tension, the banter, the characters, the story, everything. I completely DEVOURED this story, I knew the moment I picked it up I wouldn’t be able to stop.

I LOVE Ashley. She is a sassy, caring and you can’t help but just love her. Colton is uptight and pretty much a jerk and you kind of want to hate him from the start. These two are complete opposites but I LOVE their chemistry and their banter was hilarious. He pushes her away and yet, Ashley isn’t one to give up and keeps on fighting. When life throws a curveball in Colton’s life, Ashley is the one who is there from the start and really helps him out.

I loved getting to see a whole different side to Colton. He isn’t completely uptight and a jerk, he does have a softer and sweeter side. Of course, over time the chemistry only grew stronger and temptation can only be ignored for so long. Plus, Daddy Colton is H.O.T. Seriously, you’ll swoon over these guys hardcore.

L.K. Farlow wrote a beautiful story with Rebel Desire. If (surprise) single dad rom coms are your jam this one is a MUST READ!

Kiss to Conquer is emotional, beautifully written, and a great enemies to lovers romance. There is something about Anna B. Doe’s writing that completely draws me into the story and makes me fall in love with every single character.

I loved that this story primarily focused on the present, however, there were little bits and pieces of the past mixed in to give some insight into Callie and Hayden’s relationship and how things started and ended for them. Their story started out as friends, then quickly turned to an enemies to lovers and with a second chance vibe mixed in. Despite the dislike for each other you could feel the chemistry coming off the pages for these two characters.

My heart broke for Callie. Her life was changed in an instant and you could feel how much it still gripped her life. It changed who she was, gave her a different outlook on life. I felt for Hayden, too. He had it rough growing up and when the one person he grew close to hurt him that bothered him. When their hatred towards each other comes to a head I was in tears. It was emotional, but I loved seeing a different side to both of these characters.

Every single character in this story was great and added to it. I can’t wait for the next book in this all new series.

Kiss to Conquer is an emotional MUST READ!

If you’ve read Vengeance and Warrant you’ve been introduced to Nick and I have been waiting for his story since reading those two books. I knew his would be heartbreaking and it was, but it is also my favorite book out of the series. Though, this book may not be for everyone. It was a tough to read at times but don’t let that deter you.

Nick is the son of a monster. The horrible, gut wrenching things he has seen and experienced is something that will break your heart. Despite all of that horror Nick has become a better man. The one bright spot in his life is Blaire. The girl he would do absolutely anything for and do anything he could to keep her safe from his family no matter how much it would break their hearts.

I mentioned this already, but Nick’s story was my favorite of the series. My heart broke for him, but as the story went on it was slowly mended back together. He had experienced so much at such a young age. So much pain, loss and love. His relationship with Blaire was sweet, especially while they were children and it grew deeper throughout their teen years. After 14 years there was no loss to their connection, to their chemistry. If anything it had grown and gotten stronger despite the distance.

I love that we got some more of Cade, Ivy, Chaz and Jillian throughout this story. This can be read as a standalone, but I would highly recommend to read the entire series to completely understand the story.
