Patton Fletcher is the devil, but he’s also the boss. When Raquel (aka Rocky) starts her new job she is warned to stay away from her boss, but what happens when the devil lures her in?

I LOVED every single moment of this book. There was so much more to this book than it just being an office romance. Patton comes from a military background, but after things went south he took over his fathers company. He runs things a certain way and he feels responsible for his brothers. Raquel graduated top of her class, reading to start her life in corporate America. She wants to be there for his sister, wants to make sure her sister is okay.

I loved the chemistry between Patton and Raquel. There was an instant connection with those two and it just continued to grow and grow. Patton is an intense man and he seemed a little lost when it came to his feelings. I loved that Raquel tried to listen to the warnings, tried to ignore and fight the attraction she had for Patton.

Boss of Me is full of steam, romance and emotion. This isn’t your average office romance, there is a lot of depth to the story and to the characters that will draw you into their lives and to their stories and for the secondary characters will leave you wanting to know more about them.

Boss of Me is a MUST READ and definitely one of my favorites for 2019.

Awk-Weird is the perfect rom-com. I loved every thing about this book from the story to all the characters. You can’t help but swoon and smile the entire time!

Tess is probably one of my favorite heroines. Who doesn’t love a nerdy, trivia loving, fact spewing woman?! I felt like I was learning things while I was reading this story. She is a free spirit. She runs a flower shop, she has a great group of friends and a crazy cat. Cole is a neat freak, he likes things to run a certain way, he is set in his routines. It’s the same thing day in and day out. He doesn’t like change, but he is about to experience the biggest change in his life.

I couldn’t get enough of this book. I loved the characters and I loved the story. It’s so easy to fall in love with Tess, Cole and their relationship. They are truly opposites of each other in every form, yet somehow they are perfect for each other. They had so much chemistry and it was super sweet. I loved the little things they did, like the voicemails. They had to work on a relationship and I loved the build they had.

This was the perfect mix of a hockey romance, laugh out loud banter, sweet characters, steam and romance. I truly didn’t want the story to end, because I love Tess and Cole that much. I do hope there are little sneak peaks into their life in the next book of Ice Knights series.

Will Hazel, her father, Cruz and the boys be able to take down the Malone’s. Will there be an end in sight for this long standing battle?

Defiance Falls War picks up right where Revolution ended. This book is just as intense and drama filled as the other two in the series. I was on the edge of my seat throughout this entire story, I felt like so much happened in such a short amount of time and if I blinked I’d miss something.

Hazel and Cruz continue to fight for their relationship and so many things are thrown in their path that could potentially destroy everything for them. The entire group is put to the test. They all have a role in this war and finding an end to it.

Like book 2, this one is also a dual POV and I loved that because there was so much going on for both of them, especially Cruz it helped to see his thought process and know what was going through his mind at times.

This was the perfect conclusion to such a drama filled, suspenseful series. I hope that there are more of theses characters in the future!

Ashes is the conclusion to Patrick and Maddie’s story and the Web of Desires trilogy. This story had me on the edge of my seat and was everything I could have hoped for when it came to Patrick and Maddie.

Patrick spent 17 years thinking his wife was dead, until she popped up randomly and back in his life. Now he is doing everything in his power to protect Maddie and Ruby and to keep them in his life forever. Maddie is strong. She has been through so much in the past 17 years, things she has to tell Patrick about, things that could change how everyone views her.

I love the entire Sparrow’s crew and the way the accepted Maddie and Ruby into their folds was great. The woman are all supportive of one another, they have seen and experienced things that most haven’t in their lives. Plus, they keep those men in line. I love the Sparrow Men, their friendship, the family they have formed. This group is fantastic and I never want to say goodbye to them.

Secrets are revealed. People are brought to justice. Patrick has his Maddie Girl again and no one will prevent him from keeping his family in his life forever and safe. Their story was stunning, emotional and suspenseful. It was everything I love about Aleatha’s books!

Ashes is a MUST READ, along with the rest of the trilogy.

Then You Happened was unexpected, emotional, and beautiful. I had no idea what I was getting myself into but when I see K. Bromberg is releasing a new book I am all over it. This story was no exception. It was amazing from the start. The story sucks you in.

Jack and Tate are complete opposites. Two people that you would never expect to be together, to have any sort of connection but they do. Both try to fit it, but you can only fight chemistry for so long, especially when you work together. But for some reason these two fit, they work. It isn’t always an easy road, but they try.

I felt for Tate. She gave up everything and is on the verge of losing everything. Until Jack. She felt alone and I think that is something that can touch anyone who reads this story. At some point everyone feels alone, just probably not in the same sense as Tate.

If you’re looking for an emotional and beautiful story about complete opposites that is full of tension and complications then this one is for you. Then You Happened is a MUST READ and it is one of my Top Reads of 2020.

I’ve been so curious about Ty and Kaylee since book one and let’s just say I didn’t expect to get so emotional of their story. This was EVERYTHING and so much more! I DEVOURED this book. It sucked me in from the start.

Ty and Kaylee both have some baggage in their past. Kaylee’s is the loss of her fiancé and Ty was the aftermath of a career ending injury. They had an instant connection and so much chemistry, however, neither one of them seemed to be able to admit the truth to the other. I felt for both of these characters. Their pain, their struggles, every single emotion.

Ty does come across as a playboy at the beginning, but that was who he was, it was his reputation. Kaylee is independent. She wants to prove to herself and to everyone else that she can do everything on her own. She was stubborn at times when it came to asking for help. Of course, there is plenty of Brock, Shaw, Blayze and the rest of the Shaw family that we’ve grown to love over the course of this series. I can’t wait to see what is in store next for this crew.

Always Enough is beautiful, emotional and captivating. It deals with some tough subjects and I love that they aren’t just kind brushed over and sugarcoated. It was real. It added so much to the emotions of the story itself and allows you to connect to these characters on a deeper level. This is a MUST READ book!

I don’t even know what to think. My brain still can’t form the right words to say. Bury Me With Lies was everything I could have hoped for and so much more. To say I experienced every single emotion while reading this book is an understatement. I completed DEVOURED this book, I read it all in one sitting. It completely sucked me in, captivated me, stole my soul and slowly gave it back.

After the ending of Kiss Me with Lies I needed to know what was going to happen, where this story was going, who did it!? Those questions, led to more questions through BMWL. There were so many twists and turns through this story, however, by the end all questions will be answered.

Mackenzie is a woman on a mission and there is nothing that will stop her at this point. I felt for her. She was going through so much throughout this entire story. She just couldn’t catch a break. Baz, well you can’t help but love him. I didn’t even think it was possible to love him even more. There is such a strong pull between him and Mackenzie. They know they shouldn’t but neither of them can stay away. Not to mention their chemistry is off the charts! Seriously, there is one seriously hot scene in this book and I wouldn’t read that part in public!

Bury Me With Lies is a MUST READ and one of my TOP READS of 2020. If romantic suspense is your thing then I would highly recommend checking out the Twin Lies duet!

It has been a long time since I have laughed so hard while reading a book. From the very first page I was hooked and I DEVOURED this book. I am kicking myself for taking so long to finally read it! The memoir style was new to me but I loved it. It was nice to read something different for a change.

The concept of a whole behind this book is truly fantastic. A woman, BB, revisits past relationships through a journal that her husbot, Ken, discovers. However, he doesn’t get upset, he learns from it. This changes their relationship for the better.

The story is 1000% relatable. The honesty, the realness. Everything. I am in love. This story really had me reflecting on my past relationships, how they shaped me and how they affect my current relationship. I was legit reading sections of the book out loud to my other half because they made me laugh or reminded me of him.

The journey 44 Chapters takes you on is one that will leave you thinking and laughing your face off. If you haven’t read this book yet I would highly recommend it. It is a MUST READ and I can’t wait to read the other books.

An office romance with plenty of banter? Yes, please! Bachelor Boss was a quick, fun, read that was packed full with banter.

Phillip and Spencer working in the same office, but in different departments. Their very first interaction had me dying and I knew right then I would love these two characters. Phillip is 1/3 of the Bastard Bachelor Society and unlike his friend he isn’t about to let a woman bring him down. Spencer is full of sass and she wasn’t afraid to use it. Definitely one of the things I loved about her.

There wasn’t a ton of romance until close to the end of this book, however, that didn’t affect the story for me. The verbal sparing between Philip and Spencer more than made up for it. They had some of the best chemistry I have read in a while. I loved Humphrey, yes Philip’s dog, was one of my favorites in this book, especially the fact we get chapters from his POV and those had me laughing out loud.

Blaine is the last man standing and I can’t wait to see that man fall to his knees.

Bachelor Boss is a banter filled rom com that will have you laughing from the very start!

Kennedy and Colson were best friends growing up. However, things shifted when she started dating his older brother. Colson saw her first, he wanted her, but his brother, Dax, stole her from him. He took away his chance to make Kennedy his. Kennedy and Dax have been on and off for years, really they never seemed to fit together. Will Colson ever get his chance the girl of his dreams?

Kennedy is working hard to take over her grandmother’s bar, only to find out Colson is back and her grandmother hired him to work in the food truck right outside the bar. This is where the fun begins and Colson starts to act on his plan to steal Kennedy away from his brother.

I loved the chemistry and the banter between Kennedy and Colson. It was there from the very beginning and only seemed to grow. Colson would do anything he could to get under Kennedy’s skin and it worked most of the time. It was off the charts! Colson knows what he wants and he is doing anything and everything he can to finally get it. Colson is Kennedy’s forbidden temptation and she is slowly getting closer to giving into those temptations.

Steal You Away is HOT, angsty and a great forbidden little treat.
