I am a sucker for Hockey romances and absolutely in love with the Ice Kings series. Mikah and Paisley’s story was sweet, emotional and one that I completely DEVOURED.

Mikah’s goal was to make it America and play in the NHL. He worked his entire life to get to where he is. This also means he had very little time for anything else, including relationships. However, it was the night of his 23rd birthday and he decided to finally take care of something and has one weekend of pure bliss. Paisley is a hard-working grad student and currently living in her uncle’s apartment while he is away. She has an insanely gorgeous neighbor who she has never talked to, she doesn’t even know his name. Until one day there is a surprise outside his door and that surprise completely changes both of their lives.

Mikah’s one weekend of freedom suddenly ends with him being a father and he is completely clueless at what to do and what a baby needs. Enter his neighbor Paisley. She helps him with his son, she becomes his support through this massive life changing event. Mikah and Paisley’s relationship continues to grow as they navigate from being strangers, to friends, to something more. I loved their chemistry and watching their relationship grow throughout this story. Paisley seamlessly fit into his life, along with his new son. Plus, Mikah and his soon. Those scenes will completely melt your heart!

Scoring Off The Ice is a MUST READ from Stacey Lynn and I can’t wait for more of the Ice Kings!

Brazen Rush is the first book in an all new series by Ali Dean. I love Ali’s sport romances, mainly because she writes about sports that aren’t common when it comes to romance novels.

Jordan is a skateboarder and a pretty amazing one. She is someone that other women and young girls can look up to in the skating world. She may be young, but her maturity level is beyond her age. She just loves skating, she doesn’t care about the fame and fortune that can come with it. Beck, well its hard not to love him. He is the guy all the girls want when it comes to the skating world. He is drawn to Jordan, he is fascinated by her, but he is conflicted about his feelings for her, especially when it comes to the difference in their ages. I loved the chemistry the had throughout the story.

The dynamic between Beck, Griffin and Jordan is interesting and I can’t wait to see where it goes as this series progresses. With this being the first book in the series it does end on a little cliffhanger. Brazen Rush is another great book by Ali Dean!

I expected to laugh my face off from the moment I started reading this book, but what I didn’t expect was to ugly cry, too. One Moment Please had me feeling all sorts of emotions while I was reading and I LOVED it. I couldn’t get enough of this story.

Lynsey found that she enjoyed writing her thesis in the hospital cafeteria, plus their French silk pie is pretty amazing. What she doesn’t expect? A hot doctor to notice her and she definitely doesn’t expect said doctor to call her out. Josh, is an ER doc and pretty much lives at the hospital. He comes across as a major jerk, but there is more to him. I love his dry sense of humor so much!

The chemistry between Lynsey and Josh was amazing from the start and their banter! I LIVED for their banter. It had me dying from the start. I also loved the banter between Kate and Lynsey! I loved Lynsey. She lived life to the fullest, she looked on the bright side and no matter what she didn’t let anything bring her down. She looked for the good in everything. Josh, I had a love/hate relationship. I loved him, but I was SO SO SO frustrated with him when it came to Lynsey and their relationship throughout the beginning of this book.

One Moment Please will have you laughing out loud and ugly crying at times but it is a MUST READ especially if surprise baby romances are your jam!

Trav quickly moved into my second favorite member of the NSC, sorry not sorry Mace will always be my #1. I loved every single moment of this book, I couldn’t put it down.

Trav is the partier, the joker of the crew. He likes to have is fun. When he meets a skeleton while out celebrating, there is an instant attraction and this leads to one of the best nights of his life, however, he never see’s the girl again. Doesn’t know what she looks like or what her name is. Dylan Jackson just wants to blend in. She wants to live her life without fear and wants to be herself. When she starts working at the same shop as Trav there is an instant connection between the two of them. Trav may have met his match when it comes to Dylan but will they be able to make it through the secrets and lies?

I LOVED Dylan. She is sassy, snarky and not afraid to put Trav in his place when he needs it. She is a strong woman, despite being threatened. I loved Trav’s determination when it came to pursuing Dylan was great. He was intrigued by her and couldn’t stay away. I loved how easily and seamlessly Dylan fit in the with the crew. She is definitely a great fit with the bunch.

Lie for Me is full of suspense, angst, friendship, love and the craziness I’ve come to expect from the entire NSC. A MUST READ BOOK!

I DEVOURED this story. I was sucked back into the world of the Sparrows and Patrick’s story was FANTASTIC!

When someone from Patrick’s past resurfaces after 17 years so many different emotions come back. Madeline grew up alone on the streets, until she met a boy to share her apples with. The rest is history. Now she is face to face with the boy she once knew and things have changed, both of them are different people after 17 years.

Patrick and Maddie’s story was fast paced, suspenseful and had my mind racing the entire time trying to figure out where the story was going to go. These two had chemistry that was through the roof. It didn’t matter that they haven’t seen each other for 17 years there is still a spark and they ignited it once again.

Patrick is protective of Maddie, he wants to keep her safe. Get her out of the unsafe situation they find themselves. Maddie has her own reasons why she can’t just give up and they are reasons she isn’t ready to share with the man she used to love.

Spark is book one in an all new series and if you’ve read Aleatha you know there are going to be some bombshells dropped that will have you sitting on the edge of your seat and impatiently waiting for the next book in the series.

I can’t wait to see where this story goes and find out more about Patrick and Maddie’s history. A MUST READ!

Never Kiss A Stranger has goats, dog weddings and plenty of heat! This was such a fun read. I was laughing out loud and fanning myself all throughout this story.

Kiki is a dog groomer and a dog wedding planner. She is engaged to an investment banker, has a great group of friends. She has a good thing going for her. Until a goat eats her engagement ring, a stranger runs into her trellis and kisses her. Ellis is in town to save the family brewery. In order to avoid his father he decides to kiss a stranger. However, kissing a stranger can come back to haunt you.

I loved Kiki and Ellis. They had amazing chemistry from the start. Kiki is hardworking and smart. She has a great group of friends, who I’d love to hang out with. Ellis is hardworking, loves his beer and is an insanely talented graphic designer. These two were drawn to each other from that first random kiss. They had a great connection.

Never Kiss A Stranger is a great rom com filled with goats, dog weddings, laughs, heat and beer! Grab yourself a bottle, kick back and relax with this hilarious story! A MUST READ!

This book was hilariously steamy from the very first page. I was literally laughing out loud within seconds of starting this book and it continued throughout the entire story!

It all started with sending a picture to the wrong number. But who knew that mistake could turn into something more? The first “official” meeting between Noah and Reagan was ON FIRE, literally. Their chemistry was just as HOT throughout the entire story.

The banter between the two of them was perfect. It was hilarious and you just can’t help but laugh out loud when you read it. I couldn’t put this one down. It was super funny, super swoony and such an amazing light romance.

This is the second book in a series, however, it can be read as a complete standalone. I HIGHLY recommend reading the first book through, because Preston and Halley’s story is equally as hilarious!

I have been DYING for more of Rafe and Eva since finishing Rush and the continuation of the story did not disappoint when it comes to angst and emotion.

Some of those unanswered questions from the first book were answered, however, this also led to many more questions. Eva’s growth from the first book and throughout this story is amazing. She is really starting to find herself and come out of her shell more and more as this story continues and I can’t wait to see her growth.

Eva’s relationship with Levi is interesting. He formed such a strong instant attachment to her and I’m definitely curious to see how it goes for the both of them. Eva and Rafe. I just love those two. They have so much chemistry and even though they tried to fight it, tried to ignore it and each other it can only go on for so long before they have to give into it.

I loved that there was so much more of the band. We got a much deeper look into their lives, the struggles, the darkness that surrounds Levi and Rafe. I can’t wait to see what is in store for BHSB, Eva, Rafe and Eva’s relationship in the next book.

This story and this series are MUST READS!

Number Neighbors is full of laughs, romance, the best book club you’ll ever read about, a cat and plenty of heat!

Hannah send’s a text to her number neighbor. She doesn’t expect a response, let alone to continue a conversation with this stranger who could be anyone. Every night for four days they have been some pretty heated conversations with this person, until her kitten, who isn’t her kitten gets sick and her next door neighbor who just so happens to be a vet saves the day and gives Hannah his number……..

I loved Hannah and Isaac. They had so much chemistry, their banter had my dying of laughter from the very start. I couldn’t get enough of those two. Add in Lucifer and the octogenarian book club and you’ll be laughing until you’re crying. Isaac is great. He is a vet, British, pretty much a perfect man. Hannah wants to ignore what was discussed via text, Isaac doesn’t. He thinks things could be great and does what he can to prove to Hannah it wouldn’t be bad, if anything things would be great between them. I seriously couldn’t get enough of Hannah and Isaac’s relationship. These two couldn’t be anymore perfect for each other.

I loved the crazy antics of Hannah’s grandma and her friends, seriously I want to be best friends with those ladies. Hannah’s relationship with her cousin, Imogen (who’s story is in Frenemies), is one of my favorite things. These two work together, take turns keeping their grandma out of trouble and also had some hilarious scenes.

If you’re looking for a laugh out loud rom com then Number Neighbors is a MUST READ! I couldn’t put this one down.

I’m pretty sure I’ve said this every single month, but this series just gets better and better. Though, I do believe that Masen Lennox is going to be hard to beat. Who doesn’t love a troubled, sexy, Rockstar?

Masen is fresh out of rehab and needs to change is image, so why not have a fake girlfriend. Enter Billie. An intern at the record company and the woman who caught Masen’s attention. However, the more time they spend together the more the feelings start to feel real, will Billie come out of this safely or will Masen’s walls be her downfall?

Masen is the bad boy Rockstar. He has so many walls up. He doesn’t really let people in, well other than his best friend Josh. He is guarded. Billie is a student, she is sweet, but there is something about Masen that is addicting. The two of them together, HOLY CHEMISTRY. It was fantastic. Their road wasn’t easy, it was painful and emotional, but 100% worth the wait in the end.

Side note: I LOVED Josh and Avery, Billie’s best friend, and I am crossing my fingers they get a story because I would love to see more of them.

This book is a MUST READ!
