I have been DYING for this book after the way Talk Dirty, Cowboy ended. I needed to know what happened. Kai and Addie’s story does not disappoint. The more books I read from Elle the more and more I fall in love with her writing, her characters and her stories. She isn’t afraid to shy away from tough topics and does such a great job of writing them.

Kai and Addie’s story was everything I could have hoped for and so much more. I loved the chemistry between the two of them from the very start. However, Kai felt that he couldn’t have her, that he should have her. Addie was Sunny’s and in his mind would always been Sunny’s. Addie is heartbroken over the loss of Sunny and recovering from her injuries when she is offered a job working the Rodeo circuit and interviewing everyone involved. Kai and Addie can only avoid their attraction to one another for so long….

I loved being able to follow Kai and Addie on the Rodeo circuit. It is so fun to see more of the Bull riding world. Kai and Addie’s connection, their bond and their shared loss of Sunny. Addie’s attitude and gracefulness when it came to handling Kai’s father.

Like Talk Dirty, Cowboy this one also ends on a little cliffhanger and I can not wait to see what happens next!

Ride Dirty, Cowboy is a MUST READ for anyone who loves cowboy romances with some drama and steam!

I knew going into this book that it would be emotional and I was proud of myself for making about 35% into the story and hadn’t shed a single tear…..that was short lived. I am not ashamed to admit that I ugly cried many, many times throughout this story. Rebecca Yarros wrote a beautiful, heart wrenching story that will leave you breathless.

Cam and Willow have a past, a long history together going back to the time they were young children. Willow is the sweet, neighbor girl. The judge’s daughter. Cam is the middle brother out of three. From a young age the town deemed him to be the black sheep and the bad boy. When Cam returns after being away for six years no one in town wants to support him or help him, besides Willow.

Cam and Willow become each other’s rocks, they support each other, the fight against the entire town together. Their chemistry is undeniable from the start; however, this is a slow burn romance that is 100% worth the wait.

Great and Precious Things captivated me from the very start and I fell in love with these characters, their history and their future. A MUST READ and a top read of 2020!

The deeper this story gets the more and more I love Edward, Celia and their relationship. And loving Celia is something I NEVER thought I would say, but she is a survivor, a fighter and learning to overcome her traumas. She has grown so much from when she was first introduced in the Fixed series and even throughout the Slay series. Edward has even grown throughout. He is possessive and 100% alpha male, but there is also a sweet side and loving side to him that he shows several times to Celia.

Revenge completely sucked me in and like the title states this is all about Revenge. Revenge for Celia and for what she experienced with her past. Like Edward, it is easy to want to protect Celia, to shield her and to root for her. Their relationship continued to grow throughout this story.
Like any of Laurelin’s books this packs in the heat, the suspense, and plenty of drama.

I can’t wait to see where their story goes and how this series ends for Edward and Celia, but there is one thing I do know, it will not be an easy ride for either of them.

Revenge is a MUST READ, along with the previous books in the Slay series!

Elena Monroe is a new to me author and the concept of this book really caught my attention. I’m not a huge fan of fantasy, however, with Awful Curse it was the perfect balance of contemporary and fantasy that sucked you into the story.

Bolton is the king. He is the alpha of Arcadia Prep. Arianna is the new girl. She is fearless and strong. The chemistry between these two is out of this world. They are drawn to each other. They are meant to be together. I love how much of a role the secondary characters play throughout this story. It is so easy to fall in love with each of these characters for different reasons and want to know more and more of each of them as individuals but also the entire group as a whole.

Awful Curse is full of tension, mystery, drama, lies, love and some heat. I love the idea of Gods and Zodiacs with the perfect mix of that high school bully romance feels. This is the first book of the Celestial Bodies series and it kicks the series off with a bang and I can’t wait to see where this goes and the growth of these characters as the series continues.

A MUST READ for fans of both fantasy and contemporary romance.

Flame is the continuation of Patrick and Maddie’s story and it is full of many twists, turns, secrets and truths. If you haven’t read book 1, Spark, go back and read that because Flame picks up right where we left off and Patrick getting a surprise of his lifetime. A surprise that will forever change is life.

Out of all the Sparrows Patrick is quickly becoming my favorite. I am in love with his and Maddie’s story. It was addicting, heartbreaking, suspenseful, steamy and the chemistry between those two is absolutely beautiful.

What I loved most about this story was learning more about what happened 17 years ago, why Maddie left suddenly and left Patrick lost and heartbroken. Her past was sad, heartbreaking and super emotional. However, she is a fighter, she is a survivor and it helped shape who she is today.

I am in LOVE with this trilogy and I can’t wait to read what I am sure will the jaw dropping, stunning conclusion to Patrick and Maddie’s story.

Take Me To Bed is an AMAZING collection of stories and definitely a MUST READ. This collection including some new to me authors and some authors I have read before. It is a great way to discover new authors. Just to keep this review short I’ll do a little more in-depth reviews on three of the stories in this collection.

Unsubstantial by AJ Alexander:

I’ve AJ’s books in the past, so I was pretty excited to find out this was a little more of two characters from her Odd Jobs series. Morgan and Theo are amazing. I loved their chemistry. The heat these two have is amazing. They have always been one of my favorite couples from AJ. While Morgan is away to help her best friend for her wedding, Theo begins to panic. He can feel Morgan slipping away and doesn’t want to lose her after everything they have been through, but little does he know that he is about to get the surprise of his life.

Dickstagram by Brittany Crowley:

Brittany Crowley is a new to me author and the title of this story is what caught my attention. I LOVED this story. A random text from an unknown number that leads to a random dick pic that eventually leads to something more. The instant chemistry between the two main characters was great. There was plenty of steam and a few funny moments throughout. I’ll definitely be checking out more of Brittany’s books after reading this short story.

Bad Daddy by J.D. Hollyfied:

I have only read one other book by J.D. Hollyfield in the past and loved it and I was dying for more from her. Bad Daddy is HOT and STEAMY from the moment it starts and it never stops. A forbidden age gap short story that is addicting and fun. Violet is a woman who knows what she wants, even if it is her roommates’ father. Heath tried to avoid Violet’s advances, but he can only avoid it for so long before he gave in to her temptation. If you love a naughty, forbidden age gap this is definitely one quickie you’ll want to read.

Caleb Loveless may be my favorite brother and The Hookup Equation may be my favorite book of this series. I loved everything about this book from the cover, to the characters, to the story.

Caleb and Thalia had an instant connection. They were both drawn to each other from the moment they met. They had a perfect night and a night they both hoped would lead to more. That is until Caleb discovers Thalia is his student. That connection they felt instantly becomes forbidden. It isn’t something they should continue; however, you can only fight the pull for so long.

I loved Caleb and Thalia so much. From their insane chemistry to their loved of lists, charts and just being organized. However, they come from different backgrounds. Caleb is the youngest of his family and he has grown to deal with being the baby, but also having the support of his older brothers. Thalia is from a strict Catholic family, she is the definition of a good girl….that is until Caleb.

Despite the risks, these two couldn’t stay away. They took the chance on each other and on their relationship. There is heat and many sweet moments throughout the story and plenty of the Loveless family.

The Hookup Equation is a MUST READ story will captivate you from the very start and will touch your heart.

First off, I can’t get over this cover! I am OBSESSED with it! It’s so fun! Okay, the story though….I LOVED IT! I previously read Donut Disturb and this had that some vibe.

Harrison is a bakery owner and well, the man can bake! August is a plumber and isn’t afraid to get a little dirty. I loved the role reversal in this story. Typically, you’d find the heroine as the baker and the hero as the plumber, but not with Melissa’s story.

From the moment Harrison and August met there was chemistry, which quickly grew stronger. The banter between Harrison and August is great and so funny at times. Harrison is sweet and determined to get August to fall for him. He doesn’t hold back at all.

While a majority of this story is sweet, light and fun there is a little drama that Harrison and August go through and it was definitely needed in the story.

My favorite part? The baking puns! I couldn’t get enough of them. I LOVE puns and this story was full of them.

Worth the Whisk is a super fun, sweet, hilarious MUST READ!

I love age gap romances, but the way Jenna Hartley writes age gaps…I am ADDICTED. I LOVE LOVE LOVE that she writes about strong, successful women and Irresistible is no exception to this. Lauren and Hunter were previously introduced in Unexpected and I loved the little bits we got of them in that book, so I was excited for much more of them.

Lauren doesn’t do relationships, at all. They aren’t her thing. She is strong, confident, successful and I pretty much want to be her best friend. Hunter is young, but successful. He owns his own business and his hardworking and truly a great friend. Like Lauren, he also doesn’t do relationships. He is more of one and done type of guy. However, after an encounter in the family planning aisle of Target these two will cross paths several times.

I loved the beginning of Lauren and Hunter’s relationship. Back before they knew each other’s names and would run into each other in the most random of places. There was always somewhat of a connection between them and that connection continued to blossom as the story progressed. I LOVED the banter they had. It was the perfect mix of heat and laughs.

Lauren and Hunter brought out feelings in each other they didn’t know they could help. They truly completed each other and made each other better people.

Irresistible is a MUST READ!

Brooke O’Brien is a new to me author and I am addicted to her writing! Brix is the first book of an all new series and it starts off with a bang.

Brix is the perfect mix of stepbrother romance, Rockstar romance and bully romance. It was everything I never knew I needed in my life. I got some Kellen Kyle Thoughtless vibes from this story.

I loved the chemistry between Brix and Ivy. They have a history, though it is not a good one (which is where the bully romance comes in). However, that’s the past and their future is something different, especially now that they are stepsiblings. I couldn’t put this book down. I was completely sucked into their relationship and their story.

Brix was sweet, romantic and holy hotness he was kicking up the heat! Ivy isn’t the weak little girl from Brix’s past, she is strong and I love her sassy attitude. Their relationship was full of ups and downs from the start. Their relationship is messy, taboo and they don’t care what anyone says about it. They are perfect for each other; they bring out the best in each other and support each other in every aspect.

I can’t wait for more of this series and to see the secondary characters grow, plus I am excited for more Brix and Ivy!

Brix is a MUST READ and one of my TOP READS of 2020.
