Finn Anderson is back home after an early retirement from the military that injured him. Brooke is a doctor in town, who recently lost her brother. They meet at a self defense class and Brooke surprises Finn with her skills. It was at that moment, minutes after first meeting that Finn knew he was going to marry Brooke and started his pursuit for her.

It was insta love for Finn and he wasn’t afraid to admit it. He did go a little over the top at times when it came to pursuing Brooke. His brothers even thought he was being a little over the top in his methods. But that man knew what he wanted and he wanted Brooke to be his. On the other end, it was not insta love for Brooke. She had walls up and she wanted to keep them up. She didn’t want to experience loss like she felt after losing her brother. She tried her best to resist Finn and his charm.

I enjoyed this story, I loved Brooke and Finn, though there were a few times Finn was a little too over the top for me. I haven’t read the previous Anderson Billionaires series, so this family is new to me, but I am definitely curious about them all now. I have read the Forbes brothers series, so it was nice to see a little visit for the Kian.

I can’t wait to see what is in store for the rest of the Anderson brothers!

I don’t even know where to begin with this review. Down Too Deep is hands down one of the best single parent romances I have EVER read. Nate, Jenna, Marley, Olivia and Oliver will completely steal your heart and have you falling in love with them from the very start.

Nate is a widow and after the loss of his wife he shut down, his sweet baby girl spent more time with his parents. That is until they tell him to man up and take care of his daughter. Nate was clueless when it came to Marley. He didn’t know what to do, what she liked or how to take care of her. Enter Jenna. She instantly fell in love with the sweet little girl and offered to take care of her for Nate. She also helped him learn what his daughter liked, how to soothe her, and her schedule.

Let’s talk about the kids for a moment. Olivia and Oliver, Jenna’s twins, and Marley instantly stole the story and my heart. I loved the bond the three of the formed instantly. They were all truly like siblings from the start and there was so much love between them. I couldn’t get enough of them all.

Back to Nate and Jenna. I loved these two so much. They are both single parents and trying to do what is best for their children and to give them the best lives they possibly could. There was always a level of attraction and chemistry between them and when they finally gave into it I felt like my heart was going to burst.

This book is truly beautiful. Not just the story itself, but the writing. I couldn’t put this book down and read it in one sitting because I was so in love with the characters and the story.

This is the fourth book in a series, however, it can be read as a complete standalone. If single parents are your thing then trust me, this is one book you MUST READ. It’s worth an infinite number of stars.

Tracy Goodwin is a new to me author and I can say after reading Ice Hard, I am definitely going back and reading some more! I saw a Hockey romance and I jumped right on it. I can’t get enough for them and I am such a sucker for them.

Ice Hard is the second book in the Nighthawks series, but can be read as a standalone. I didn’t read the first one, but still felt like I knew what was going on in the story, but I feel like it would have helped with some of the things mentioned throughout the story.

Nick is a hockey bad boy, he is like a human google. He studies everything and that includes his opponents. He knows how to win. He isn’t called the Dominator for nothing. Cami works in her family restaurant and catches Nick’s attention, only she doesn’t date hockey players. Nick is determined to get her to change her mind and take a chance with him, but will Cami be able to overcome her past for a future with Nick?

I LOVED this book so much. Every single character in this story was fantastic, even though I truly wanted to slap most of Cami’s family (trust me, you will understand once you’ve read it). Nick and Chris’s relationship and friendship is hands down my favorite. Those guys have so much love for each other and are truly like brothers. I love Nick, but Cami. That woman. She is completely amazing and despite the pain of her past is there for her family and just completely awesome.

If you love hockey romances this is one I would definitely recommend. It’s got loads of hockey shenanigans, romance, steamy and it is emotional. I loved every single moment.

Remember Oliver’s best friend and roommate from Misadventures with a Book Boyfriend, Skye? This is her story and I was so excited when I found that out! Plus there was some more Oliver and Baily, so it’s a win-win.

Skye works at City Hall and decides to take the plunge and throw her name in the race for city council. She is driven, smart and has what it takes to win. However, her opponent, Kyle Armstrong may throw a wrench or two into her plans and risk her campaign.

Skye, I love this woman. She has sass for DAYS. She is hardworking, driven, and honestly a great friend. Kyle, well the man is an alpha male who you can’t help but love. He knows what he wants and he will do anything he can to get it, including Skye. Their chemistry is OFF THE CHARTS, the banter the had was fantastic and honestly, I just couldn’t get enough of them together.

I love the Misadventures series and this book is definitely one of my favorites out of them all. It is full of steam, banter and loads of tension between Skye and Kyle. A MUST READ!

Anyone else want to be a member of the Bailey family? I wish I could become an honorary member because they seem so down to earth, fun, and just overall awesome.

Brooklyn Bailey is left at the altar. She isn’t necessarily ready for a new relationship, however, her new mysterious, hot neighbor, Wyatt Whitmore, isn’t make that easy for her.
Wyatt wasn’t looking for a relationship, he wasn’t looking for love. He just wanted to put in his time at a small town resort and get back to his life in New York. Funny how fate works out sometimes.

This story was full of banter, it was fully of love and family, and some steaminess. The chemistry between Brooklyn and Wyatt was amazing. There was no denying their attraction and it started instantly. I loved their friendship, but when they finally gave into the attraction there was no stopping them.

This story was perfect, it had the small town feel, the love of a family and a new chance at love. It was amazing from start to finish. I can’t wait to see what is next for the Bailey’s.

I have been waiting for this book since reading that draw dropping ending of Advice from a Jilted Bride, of course, you don’t need to read that one to enjoy Birth of a Baby Daddy, but I highly recommend this entire series because the Baileys are just that awesome. Piper Rayne has quickly become one of my favorite authors when it comes to rom-coms.

So who is the baby daddy? You’ll have to read the book to find out! Harley heads to Lake Starlight for DNA from her sweet baby girl’s daddy but what she doesn’t expect to find are the Baileys and so much more.

Once again, I fell even more in love with the family, if that is even possible, but their acceptance of sweet baby Calista and Harley into their family was amazing. They all instantly bonded with the both of them and wanted to help the both of them.

This story is fast paced, it is full of laughs, full of banter, some kindle melting scenes and full of the usually craziness that we’ve grown to love about this family. I CANNOT wait to see what is next for this family in the next book.

I was COMPLETELY HOOKED on this book from the very beginning.

Two words: LORENZO MANCINI. This man is seriously swoon worthy and he has a way with words (if you’ve read it you definitely know what I’m talking about). The man is filthy in the best way possible.

This story had everything. It was funny, it was sweet, it was SUPER STEAMY.

Enzo definitely comes across as a huge jerk in the beginning and everyone at the company pretty much feels that way towards him. I mean, the man can’t keep an assistant to save his life. Enter, Annie. She is an assistant for another individual in the office, but when Enzo needs someone Annie is voluntold for the job.

I loved Annie. She is super driven when it comes to life and her career and she will do whatever she needs to make sure she achieves her goals. She was sweet and a nice hefty sprinkle of sass which I LOVED.

The chemistry between Enzo and Annie was fantastic. The conversations were priceless at times and had my dying of laughter throughout the story. You can’t help but cheer for them to be together, of course, like life there are some bumps in the road that they need to face.
The secondary characters in this story are truly fantastic and add so much to Enzo and Annie’s story. I can’t wait to see more of all of them in future!

Whether you’ve read a Piper Rayne book before or you haven’t this one is MUST READ and I HIGHLY RECOMMEND picking up a copy!

Piper Rayne saved the best Mancini for last! Dominic was the mysterious brother, he kept to himself, was sneaking away constantly, had a mystery hook-up. I was DYING to know more about him and this one did not disappoint.

Val and Dom have loved each other since they were children, but timing was never in their favor. When they had their chances something would prevent it from going further whether it be from and ex to being a workaholic. Their rollercoaster of a relationship started as children, but as adults will things finally work out for them?

I LOVE Dom and Val. Their chemistry, their history, their pain and heartbreak. I fell in love with the characters, their story and of course, their mommas! This was a more emotional story compared to the other two in the series, but still definitely had some of the laughs you come to expect from Piper Rayne.

I am in LOVE with this family and I am looking forward to seeing more of them in the future with Blanca’s story. This is a MUST READ BOOK and SERIES!

What happens when a wedding planner and a divorce attorney find a connection? You get loads of laughs, steam and banter!

Zach and Piper are part of the same group of friends from college. They have always butted heads over the years. Zach is focused on work and being a father to his two children. Piper is focused on growing her wedding planning business. However, when two of the best friends announce their engagement and expect Piper and Zach to help with the planning things begin to change.

I LOVED this book. It really reminded me of some of Lauren Blakely’s older stories and I LOVED IT! It was the perfect mix of everything. Zach and Piper’s chemistry was perfect and lead to some fantastic dialogue. I loved Zach’s relationship with his children too, he really is a fantastic father. Piper also had a great relationship with his children since they worked in the same building.

If you love a good enemies to lovers, slow burn romance with some laughs this is definitely one to check out!

I am still trying to find the right words to say after finishing this book. This book was emotional, beautiful, hilarious and so much more. Trust me, this is just one you’ll want to read for yourself because Helena does not disappoint with Rook and Lainey’s story.

Rook aka RJ met Lainey on a flight to Alaska. Those few weeks they spent together were perfect, they had so much chemistry but when things came up unexpectedly they lost touch. A year later fate seemed to have something else in mind when it brought them back together, but only this time there is a lot more at stake with their relationship.

I loved Lainey. She was easy to connect to. She had anxiety, overprotective parents and honestly, I really just love a nerdy heroine. She just felt so normal and down to earth. I want to be her best friend. Rook, I loved him. He loves his family and his team. I love that he wasn’t just a playboy, the man had layers.

A Lie for A Lie was perfect. I loved the story, the twists and turns, the romance, the banter and of course, there were a few Violetisms. Rook and Lainey had so much chemistry and there was no lack of steamy, especially in Alaska. I loved that this story not only made me laugh, but it also was emotional.

This book is EVERYTHING. Seriously, even if you haven’t read the Pucked Series you can still very much enjoy this and I cant wait for the rest of this series.
