Curves Ahead is an intense, suspenseful, emotional, swoon worthy roller coaster ride. No joke. This book had my emotions all over the place.
This book isn’t going to be for everyone. There are things that could be triggers, so proceed with caution when starting this one.
I am no stranger to Andi Jaxon’s books and honestly have loved every single one of them. If you have read Learning Curve you’ll recognize the main characters of this story. The heroine is Kristen, who is Ben’s best friend, and the hero is Alex, who is Alistar’s twin brother. This can be read as a standalone, however, I believe that the story just flows better if you read Learning Curve first.
Alex Bennet comes across as a playboy, that he just doesn’t care about anything. But there is so much more to the man than what is on the outside. Yes, he is a law enforcement officer but he does so much more, especially for the community he lives in. His past broke my heart, but provides lots of insight into why he does the things he does.
Kristen. That girl. I loved her so much, but my heart also broke for her and everything she had experienced. It was heartbreaking, but I also loved that she tried to overcome it. Her life wasn’t easy, it never has been. She struggles with nightmares and her family, well they are just a piece of work. I was not a fan of them at all!
I loved the relationship between Alex and Kristen. They enjoyed getting under each other’s skin and it lead to some pretty great banter, but also there was a sense of protectiveness that Alex over Kristen and he knew there was something about her that was just different. They had great chemistry whether they were hating or loving each other.
This book broke my heart, but it also pieced it back together. If you’re looking for a romance full of emotions and suspense this is definitely one that I would highly recommend.

I Knead You Tonight is a fantastic enemies-to-lovers, single mom romance. I LOVED every single moment of this book.
Drew is a single mom to an adorable 3 month old, Riker. She works hard and does everything she can to make sure that her son has the best left possible. It is hard to not love her for who she is as a person. I wanted to hug her and be her best friend, sorry Wren! Winston is a stoner, he just kind of goes with the flow most of the time, but there is a lot more to him than what he portrays to most people.
I LOVED the banter between Winston and Drew and I loved that it was sprinkled all throughout this story. Not only was the banter great but their chemistry! I couldn’t get enough of it. I loved the protectiveness Winston felt for Drew and Riker and the need to make things easier for them. I loved that they pushed both each other to be better people, to go for their dreams.
This book was full of everything I have come to know and love about Teagan’s books and may be my favorite one to date. I hope we get more of these characters and some characters get their own stories because I am not ready to say goodbye just yet.
Grab a slice of pizza and get comfy because this a MUST READ!

I loved everything about this book, I seriously couldn’t put it down.
Miles and Kynslee have been best friends forever, they were each other’s first and at 18 they made a promise to each other. Flash forward 12 years and Miles intends to cash in on that promise. However, Kynslee isn’t so happy with Miles being back and just assuming that she would immediately agree to his proposal.
I loved Miles and Kyns so much. Their relationship was built on a great foundation of friendship, they had so much chemistry and could feel the love between them. They both had fears, specifically Miles and while he was kind of idiot about it, I also got where he was coming from and his reasons. Their relationship and friendship are so sweet and so beautiful.
This book is sweet and swoon worthy, especially when it comes to Miles (hello, a Cowboy and a Marine), but it also had me laughing. I loved their families and friends, but also a certain Rooster.
If you’re looking for a sweet, best friends to lover’s romance with a few laughs this is definitely one to read. Kelly Elliott NEVER disappoints her with stories. A MUST READ!

Hands down one of my favorite books of 2018. I loved the unique approach to this story, using the podcast approach for Lucky to tell her story was fun, it was unique and made me laugh a whole lot!
Luciana ‘Lucky’ Wright doesn’t live up to her name when it comes to love. She has terrible luck, finds all the jerks to date, so what does she do? She decides to stop falling for jerks. Well, that doesn’t work out so well for her because she ends up meeting Oliver ‘Ollie’ Arsen. Is he truly the biggest jerk of them all?
I can’t express how much I love this story. It made me laugh, it made me cry and may have made me yell at my kindle. The Day I stopped Falling for Jerks was one gnarly wave of emotions! Everything about Lucky and Ollie is just perfect. Their chemistry is off the charts, that slow burn. How sweet Ollie is. Seriously, book boyfriend material! I started this book totally on team Lucky, but I think I can easily be persuaded to join team Ollie.
Cliffhangers are not my favorite thing, but this cliffhanger was fantastic! I can’t wait for book 2 and to hear Ollie’s side of the story, because the Jerk is definitely falling and I know he won’t disappoint.

Tate and Sam met while on vacation in London one summer. Secrets were shared between them and with people they shouldn’t have been shared. Their relationship ended just as quickly as it began. Flash forward 14 years, Tate and Sam see each other again, but will they be able to mend what was broken?
I love Christina Lauren’s books and this was is no different. I was completely hooked from the very beginning. I fell in love with Tate and Sam, their relationship and their stories. Tate had and interesting life growing up and when Sam leaked her secrets her life changed again, she got her dream of being an actress. We didn’t get a ton of Sam’s background and I wish there was more. He loved to write and wrote screenplay for a movie in which Tate is the star and they are pushed back into each other’s lives.
They both had chemistry when they first met in London and spent those two magical weeks together, but there were times I felt it was lacking when they met again. I didn’t feel as much towards them in the future then I did with the past. I was wanting more tension between them. They just kind of avoided each other for the most part.
Overall, this was a good story and if you’re a fan of Christina Lauren you’ll enjoy it. 4.5 stars.

I devoured this book. It is completely addicting from the very beginning and the more the story continued the more invested I became into the story, the characters and wanting to know what was going to happen next.
Hazel Ross didn’t expect her life to completely change the night she attended Cruz Donovan’s birthday. Sure, she used to be friends with Cruz and his crew, but that changed 3 years prior. She thought they forgot about her, but in reality they never did and they were doing everything they could to protect.
I loved Hazel. She is a pretty strong female lead. I loved Cruz, too. He has been through a lot in his life, but still continues to fight each day. The whole crew is fantastic. The twins and Hazel’s cousins, Bodhi and Emmett added some comedy to the story, Spike and Moody were also great secondary characters and Hazel’s dad. That man deserves an award! Every single character in this story plays a major role and adds something different to the story.
This book is full of secrets, lies, family and plenty of drama and suspense. It will have you hooked and the ending will have you craving the second book to know what happens next.

A second chance romance with a little Christmas flair.
Roarke and Hannah grew up together and eventually formed a relationship, until one day everything changed and Hannah left. Years later she is back in Texas and back in the town she grew up in.
I fell in love with Roarke when he was first introduced in The Truth About Cowboys and was super excited to find out he was getting his own story. The horse wrangler does not disappoint when it comes to romance and steam! He wants another chance with Hannah and this time he is willing to fight for her and let her know the truth about what really happened the first time around.
Hannah left Sweetwater broken hearted, but she is back and more mature. Of course, the moment she lands in Texas she runs into the last person she wants to see, Roarke. I loved Hannah and Jason’s relationship; she was truly like a baby sister to him. I loved that she instantly become friends with Jessica. Plus, the grandmas. Who doesn’t love them?!
I loved Roarke and Hannah’s relationship. These two had chemistry like there is no tomorrow. I loved how they bonded over their love of helping animals. They work well as a team both with the animals and as a couple. Of course, there are some secrets between them that need to come to light.
If you’re looking for an ultra-steamy, small town, cowboy filled Christmas romance then this is one book you’ll want to read this Holiday Season!

This book RUINED me. I DEVOURED this book and was left craving more!
I didn’t think it was possible to like or even love Celia. My heart broke for her. There is so much more to her story than I could have ever guessed. She is a fighter and a survivor. Edward may be the devil, but he’s a devil you can’t help but love. He is an alpha male, but there is a nurturing side to him and we got to see more of that side throughout this story. Though there were times were I hated him right along with Celia (especially during a certain trip but he made up for it.
Edward had a plan going into their marriage, however, his plans changed and throughout this book they continued to change. There was something about Celia that drew him in, that captivated him. She was felt the same when it came to Edward, she wants to be afraid of him, she wants to hate him, but there’s something in her that draws her to him. These two have CHEMISTRY that is kindle melting HOT. Talk about steam.
Edward is determined to break Celia. He demands honesty, but Celia isn’t one to share her games and her past with anyone for fear of judgement. Can Edward slowly break down those walls? Will he ruin Celia?
Slay: Ruin is captivating, addicting and full of twists and turns you’ll not expect. I can’t wait to see how Edward and Celia’s story continues.

I LOVED this story. It was entertaining, it was steamy and it was full of great banter. A fantastic enemies to lovers romance.
Josh is a sports agent, and his rival Haven is also his ex flame. These two did not end on the best of terms, they poach each other’s clients. They can’t stand to be near each other, until they finally decide to clear the air. However, there is a fine line between hate and want. What happens when that line begins to blur?
Josh, how can you not love him? He gave things up in the name of love when it came to his career. He is a romantic at heart, but also knows how to bring the steam. Haven is confident, she is strong and can hold her own in a male dominated field. She deserves everything she has in life because she had to work hard to get it. Josh and Haven had so much chemistry. When they finally gave into it again sparks fly. I loved their banter, too. It was hilarious at times and I loved that they kept pushing each other’s buttons.
A MUST READ and I can’t wait for the next one in this series!

THIS BOOK DESTROYED ME IN THE BEST WAY POSSIBLE. Seriously. I was one hot mess while reading this book.
Evan. He is swoon worthy! He isn’t your typical hero. He has been fighting his entire life. He is deaf and had a heart transplant at a young age. He is beating the odds and will continue to beat them. Add in the fact he is also a single father. I don’t think I’ve loved a hero in a book more than I love Evan.
Frankie Leigh was Evan’s best friend. She’s loved him for as long as she can remember so when he left three years prior, she was heartbroken and completely devastated. Now that Evan is back will she be able to forgive him for breaking her heart and leaving her?
I loved Evan and Frankie Leigh and their entire story. From the moment they first met when Frankie Leigh was only 5 going forward to present day. Their story is beautiful, it is heartbreaking and it is emotional but so full of hope. These two were meant for each other and they both knew that at a young age.
Hold on to Hope is an emotional second chance, friends to lover’s romance mixed with a little drama and suspense that will break your heart, but slowly mend the pieces back together. A MUST READ and one of my favorite books of 2019.
