We’ve met Lawson, we’ve met Barrett, now it is time for Clay!

Kinsley and Clay literally ran into each other, well Clay mostly ran into Kinsley. After noticing her there was an instant attraction. Clay felt something about this girl and he knew he needed to take her back to Lemon Tree Ranch. These two are in for more than they bargained for.

Clay and Kinsley’s story is definitely the steamiest out of the series so far. Clay, oh that man is hot enough he will melt you kindle and the things he does….yep, you’re going to want to fan yourself. The man is on a whole different level!

Of course, despite all the steaminess there is some emotional bits to the story. Kinsley’s history and things have happen in the present are heart breaking. Clay, knowing she is young and that she has her whole life ahead of her and he is willing to let her go to experience life to the fullest, but it is easier said than done and he struggles with letting her go.

I love that we got more of the previous couples and how they all accepted Kinsley (well, Harper took a little bit longer than the rest).

This story is one steamy and emotional quick read and a must read if you love some sexy alphas because there is not shortage of alpha males in this series and this book! I can't wait to see what is in store for Jake, that man is a mystery.

“Maybe it shouldn’t be called Lemon Tree Ranch, but Dom Ranch.”

There are no words to begin to describe the emotional ride Save Me will take you on. This story broke my heart, but it also put it back together. Save Me is a beautiful story of strength, of surviving and realizing that you are not broken.

Isabel’s strength is everything. She is a fighter, she is a survivor, she is not weak, she is not broken. Her love for her daughter is beautiful. Adam is also a survivor. He knows exactly what Isabel and Sophie have dealt with, he knows the feeling, he still is affected by his childhood.

Isabel and Adam are two lost souls that finally found each other and found the strength and love to heal each other when they needed it most. This is probably one of the most emotional stories I have read in a while, but I couldn’t put it down. I was drawn to the story, to the characters, to the love they had for each other.

Sophie is probably one of the sweetest little girls ever! She knew what was going on in her home wasn’t right, but she’s only four, so there is only so much a small child could do. I absolutely loved the chapters from her POV. They were sweet and so adorable. Her instantly love for Adam was precious. She knew this man wouldn’t hurt her, that he would protect her and her mother from those who try to harm them.

“YOU. ARE. NOT. BROKEN. Do you understand me? You are one of the strongest women I know, after my own mother.”

While this book may not be for everyone, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND it.

This book wrecked me in the best way possible. I felt Prue’s pain as a teenager, I felt her pain as an adult and all the heartache she has been dealt in her short lifetime. When it came to Holden I wanted to hate him for what he did to Prue after graduation but once he was able to explain what had happened it was so hard to dislike him and the more he did and the harder he tried to make things better I was swooning over the man!

I absolutely loved their beautiful second chance. It wasn’t always easy and they had to work through what had happened in the past. I loved watching them get to know each other again and for Prue to slowly begin to forgive Holden through their e-mail exchanges. The worry and the fears and all the emotions, it was so easy to feel those along with Prue and my heart literally broke for her and for Holden.

Prue and Holden’s story is HANDS DOWN one of my FAVORITE second chance romances. This story was filed with so many emotions and it felt so real and it was so easy to connect with the characters and all their pain and happiness.

This is the third book in the Fairlane series, but it can be read as a complete standalone.

I’m a sucker for sports romances and this one is fantastic.

Zack, aka Z, Morgan is a star hockey player with the NHL in his future. Sugar Ryan is a southern girl who has her sights set on her dream law school.

Both Z and Sugar have issues, they are both struggling and they’re both a little broken. Their chemistry is undeniable and their banter is on point. There is so much more to both of them that meets the eye, parts of them they both keep hidden from a majority of the world.

Not only is this a sports romance, but it is also a fake relationship. Of course, like many fake relationship stories they pretend, they set rules, but those rules go out the window quickly. Sugar is reluctant to give into their chemistry, into how she truly feels thanks to her ex. Of course, this story is full of MANY kindle melting moments.

This story was entertaining, the characters have depth and evolved so much throughout the course of the story, it was steamy and it had a few funny moments. Not only were Z and Sugar great characters, but I felt all the secondary characters had some depth and were great additions to the story.

If you love sports romances or fake relationships or both this is a MUST READ book for you.

If you’ve read the first book of the series, Wrong Bed, Right Roommate, you’ve met Talia. This is her story. Since her former roommate and best friend moved in with her boyfriend and Talia’s brother she needed a place to live. When one of the fellow dancers she works with needs someone to sublet her apartment on short notice, Talia jumps right for that offer. What she doesn’t expect his a DEA agent to come barging in.

Talia and Reed are complete opposites. She is loud and messy. He is quiet and a grump. Despite being so different they couldn’t be more perfect for each other. I loved their chemistry, their banter. Talia would push all of Reed’s buttons.

This story took turns I didn’t expect, especially from reading the blurb, but I loved every single moment of it. It was funny, it was steamy and it had some drama to it. The characters were well written and the added suspense really made the story stand out.

This story was dark, twisted and unconventional. I couldn’t put it down. Percivale and Blossom’s story was not the norm. She was just suppose to be a job, but Perc was drawn to her, there was something about her that made him want to know her, to draw out the darkness he knew what buried deep within her.

Percivale, that man is dark, dirty and the ultimate bad boy. Who could blame Blossom for being so attracted to him. He knew he wasn’t the man for her, too. He knew that Blossom deserved someone better than him, someone who wasn’t a hitman and didn’t have a mission for revenge. I loved watching their relationship change from a job, to captor/hostage, to something more. I love that this isn’t a conventional romance and how they both had to fight for their lives and decide if sacrificing themselves is worth it, especially if it means the other person can have the life and the happiness they deserve.

I’ve recently discovered S.M. Soto and she can seriously write some dark books and I love each and every single one of them. There is just something about her writing that draws me in and I instantly fall in love with the story and the characters.

A Cruel Love was dark, violent, full of heat (and I mean this book should come with a warning label), full of action, suspense and drama.

If you are a fan of dark romances, mafia romances or really anything I HIGHLY RECOMMEND this book.

Nicole Goodin is a new to me author and I am hooked! I can’t wait to read more from her in the future.
This is a sports/forbidden romance, which happen to be two of my favorite tropes so I was super excited to dive right into this story.

Jake Carson is a pro surfer and at the top of his game, his biggest competition is Zeke Brady. Jake also loves to get under the skin of Zeke’s baby sister, Eden. His cocky attitude drives Eden nuts and the two of them don’t know whether to love or hate each other.

Jake comes across as a cocky jerk, but the more Eden got to know him, especially after “working” with him, the more you learn he isn’t a jerk, though still somewhat cocky. There is more to the man than what the public sees.

I loved Jake and Eden’s relationship from their chemistry to their banter. Jake helping Eden overcome her fear was hands down the sweetest thing ever and had me swooning over the man.

I loved this story from start to finish and I can’t wait to read the rest of the calendar series.

First off, this entire crew is absolutely amazing and I’m just going come out in say it now, but Mace is my favorite and I already want to claim him. Now, onto Mace’s cousin, Gage, and his best friend, Lil.

This book starts 4 months in the future so the prologue is a little confusion but it all makes sense as you read through the rest of the story. Thinking back to the prologue after finishing the book, it truly breaks my heart to know what happened.

I absolutely love Lil. As Mace puts it, she is hell on wheels. The girl is feisty and she gives as good as she gets. Though under that tough exterior she is broken, she has had her heart broken in a terrible way. She doesn’t give her heart easily or to just anyone. She is also a total badass, a fighter and stronger than she realizes. Gage is rough, rugged and has a total bad boy vibe, but he is also hiding his past, his heart break. He doesn’t want to be attracted with Lil, but he also can’t deny their chemistry.

This book had me on the edge of my seat and I may have yelled at my kindle telling those men to hurry up! You’ll understand exactly what I mean once you’ve read the story.

Gage and Lil are two people who have experienced loss and pain in the past and they found each other when they both needed it most and were able to mend their hearts and break down the walls they both built up for themselves. But will the past destroy everything they built?

This story was unexpected. It had laughs, it had steaminess, it had drama and it had unexpected suspense. There are twists and turns you may not necessarily suspect and that is what makes this story stand out.

I CAN NOT wait for the rest of this series and to learn more about the others in the crew!

This book was AMAZING, full of so many EMOTIONS and a MUST READ. I was not prepared to experience so much emotion while reading this but I am glad that I had some tissues near by because they are definitely needed when reading.

Valerie, I LOVED her! I found her very relatable when it came to her relationship with her mother. She experienced tragedy at a young age, but she is a fighter and overcame that. She is beautiful inside and out. I loved her relationship with her sisters, too. I wanted to be an honorary Stephens sister! Padraig, that man is seriously incredible. I feel for him, he is going through so much change in his life. Of course, he meets Val when he needs someone the most. Their relationship was beautiful.

I loved everything single minute of this book. The good, the beautiful, and the extremely heartbreaking moments. Not only were Val and Padraig AMAZING characters, but the secondary characters were perfect. Seriously, where can I find myself a Nan?! She cracked me up so much throughout the story.

Whether you’ve read anything by Karina or not this book is MUST read! Be ready to experience a rollercoaster of emotions but it is worth every single moment!

The Unhoneymooners is probably one of my favorite books by Christina Lauren, after Beautiful Bastard. This book is pure Rom-Com gold! I haven’t laughed this much while reading a book in a while.

This book is an enemies to lovers/fake romance story. Olive and Ethan are forced to go on their siblings honeymoon after an unfortunate incident at a wedding. Olive, twin of the bride, claims to be unlucky. Especially compared to her twin sister. Despite getting to enjoy some time in paradise (which I would claim to be lucky), she has to spend it with one person she can’t stand. Her brother-in-laws brother, Ethan (aka the man she can’t stand).

While enjoying time in Hawaii, Olive and Ethan run into people they know back home and pretend to be newlyweds enjoying their honeymoon, of course they still can’t stand each other. Olive is still hurt about how Ethan treated her when they first met and Ethan, well he just thanks Olive hates him. There is an attraction between the two of them and they have great chemistry. Their banter is great throughout the story.

I absolutely love Olive and Ami’s family. They had me cracking up anytime they were involved throughout the entire story. Ami’s husband, not a fan of the man. AT ALL. I couldn’t stand him from the very beginning. He and Ethan are COMPLETE opposites of each other, but then again so are Olive and Ami.

If you are new to Christina Lauren or even if you’re not this book is MUST READ and a perfect read for the summer of 2019.
