This book is a beautiful and heartbreaking second chance romance. It is packed full of emotions and will punch you right in the gut.
Jackson and Allie fell in love as children and once tragedy struck their relationship changed forever, or so they thought. Eight years later, Jackson has returned home and Allie is nearly divorced. So what happens when these two reconnect?
Jackson is sweet, he is kind, and he has experienced so much loss in his life. He was pushed away by the one girl he loves more than anything, he experienced fame and fortune. But once again, tragedy struck his life and he realized it’s not what he wants in his life. He heads back to Bear Creek to start a life away for the fame. Allie is a single mother and after her divorce moved back to Bear Creek. She has taken over the inn her mother owns. When she finds out that Jackson has returned home and when they run into each other they both realize that there is still something between the two of them.
This story grabbed a hold of my emotions right from the start. Jackson and Allie’s past will break your heart, but their future will put it back together again. It is a beautifully written story and everything you could ever want in a second change romance. This story deserves more than 5 stars and is one that I would highly recommend to anyone.

This book is everything I love about Kendall Ryan! It is funny, it is sexy and it has a swoon worthy hero!
Junk Mail had me laughing from the very beginning. The description of Josh taking the dick pic is priceless. You have to give the man credit for putting some effort in for it! Of course, he didn’t expect to text it to a random number. Plus, Josh being well, Josh, he also managed to send a picture of his eight-year-old self to the random recipient. If you’ve ever sent a text to a wrong number in error, you can’t help but wonder who is truly on the other end, but you don’t expect to ever truly run into that person. Not the case when it comes to Josh, he runs into the poor girl in his office of all places.
Peyton left everything to start her own business, so when she gets the opportunity to work with Josh’s company she will do everything she can to make things work out for her and her roommate, who also happens to be her totally awesome and feisty Gram! I loved the chemistry between Josh and Peyton, plus they had one of the best meetings I’ve read in a while.
This is another amazing standalone by Kendall Ryan and definitely a fun, sexy read that I highly recommend to everyone!

I’ve been waiting for Grant and Aubrey’s story from the very beginning and it did not disappoint and was so much more than I could have ever expected.
This story was emotional, it had laughs and it was hot. Grant and Aubrey are two divorce lawyers, who also happened to be married to each other at one point. They’ve been divorced for a while, but there is still a connection between the two of them. Things left unresolved.
When Grant offers to drive Aubrey home for the holidays to visit her family and to celebrate her grandmother’s 90th birthday. Of course, Aubrey told Grant nothing would happen on the trip but with a connection between them it was impossible to ignore and there were able to slowly start to work through what happened at the end of their marriage.
I love Aubrey and Grant, their chemistry and their story broke my heart, but as their worked through their struggles and their past it will slowly mend your heart back together. If you’ve read the previous books in the series we got more of Max and Charlie and Trinity and Lucas, which was fun and led to some laughs throughout the story. Though, this is the third book in the series it can be read as a standalone.

I love a great forbidden romance and Learning Curve is definitely now on the top of that list for me. This story was so much more than a forbidden student/teacher romance. It was emotional, it was sweet, it was steamy.
Alistar is a college professor at a university in Seattle. He is caring, he is loving, he is hot and he keeps his personal life to himself. Ben is a shell, he is broken and abused, he is working hard at trying to just finish college.
When Ben walks into Alistar’s life he knows there is something different, something special about him, he is someone that he needs to help and to protect from whatever it is that haunts him. Ben’s story absolutely broke me. The things that he had to endure throughout his childhood were gut wrenching. I wanted to just reach out and hug him and never let go.
If you’re looking for an emotional M/M forbidden romance this is one that should be at the top of your list. It is a heartbreakingly beautiful story that will leave you feeling all sorts of emotions.

Dark of Night picks up right where Dead of Night leaves off, so with that being said if you haven’t read Dead of Night go back and start there or else the story won’t make much sense, plus Dead of Night is fantastic.
I thought it would be hard to top Dead of Night, but Dark of Night blew it out of the water for me. The chemistry between Callie and Lucas as hotter than ever and I feel like it will only continue to get hotter as the story goes on. Despite the fact they shouldn’t be together they don’t let that stop that, they continue to fight and to prove everyone wrong. I loved Callie’s strength, especially when it comes to her family (specifically her father and brother). I was cheering that girl on when she stood up for herself.
I love Emily’s writing style and how she paints such a vivid picture for each scene you truly feel like you are standing right there in the middle of the woods with Callie and Lucas. It’s so easy to get lost in the story and the scenes.
This story is filled with romance, it is filled with loads of drama, suspense, action and a couple of laughs. Some questions in the plot were answered and of course, more questions popped up. I seriously can’t wait for book 3 to see what is next for Callie and Lucas, especially with the cliffhanger we got in this one.

A modern tale of Beauty and the Beast wrapped up as a hot forbidden romance. This story had everything you could want when it comes to a forbidden romance. Of course, it had the age gape but Erin and Blake met while she cleaned his house, he was her employer and he eventually became her professor.
Blake was injured in Iraq by an IED and his life changed. His fiancé left him, he stopped teaching and spent all his time in his home, away from the public eye. Erin is a student, who has worked hard in school and worked as a maid to pay for her education. There was an instant attraction between the two. I loved their chemistry. I loved that their entire relationship was forbidden.
I was completely hooked on this story from the beginning. I already love the tale of Beauty and the Beast but when you add in the forbidden aspect and the erotic themes it makes the story. I can’t wait for the second book to see what is next in store of Blake and Erin.
