Anna B. Doe is a new to me author and I will continue to read more in the future. When this book was released, I remember seeing a lot about it on social media, but hadn’t had the chance to read it. I don’t know what took me so long to start it but, I’m glad I finally got the chance to read it.

Amelia Campbell is not Derek King’s biggest fan. Growing up together he did not treat her well, he let his friends bully her and sat there silently and just observed it all. Then a new boy, Max, comes to town and threatens Derek’s feelings over Amelia. Will Derek be able to admit his true feelings to her? Will he be able to prove to her that he isn’t that guy? Will Amelia be able to forgive Derek for everything he did to her in the past?

There are two sides to Derek. One side is when he is with his friends or with his hockey team. He becomes a jerk. He lets his friends bully others and does nothing. The second side of Derek is who is he when he is with Amelia. He is far from the jerk, he is sweet and he is protective of her, eventually. Amelia is a nerd, she likes to stay in the shadows. She protects herself from being hurt, especially being hurt by Derek, again. It was hard not to love their push and pull, their fight against the strong attraction.

There is some drama, some sweetness, and some angst. This is a high school sports romance focusing on a group of friends. Not only were the main characters great, but there was so much about the secondary characters and I truly can’t wait for the future books in this series. There are some secrets still hiding among the group.

I have been looking forward to this book since I read All About the D and we were first introduced to Kendall and Drew.

Kendall and Drew did not start of their “friendship” on the best foot, however, their best friends are married to each other, so they are forced to spend time together over the years. However, Drew is changed man. Can he make amends with Kendall? Will they be able to not constantly be at each others throats when they are near each other?

When their mutual friends invite them to spend Thanksgiving up in a cabin in the mountains they are both dreading it, but it turns out to filled with apologies, loads of steaminess and a trip to the local police station. This weekend will forever change their lives.

To be honest, I wasn’t a fan of Drew. That opinion quickly changed and I absolutely love him. The chemistry between him and Kendall was off the charts. Their banter was hilarious and I was constantly laughing. Not only was this hilarious, but this story was sweet and heartwarming. I loved watching their relationship grow.

I couldn’t put this down book down. Drew 2.0 and Kendall had me laughing until I was crying and feeling all sorts of happy emotions. This is a must read for anyone who loves enemies to lovers, a surprise baby and loads of laughs.

I have been looking forward to this book since I finished Variant Lost. If you haven’t read that one, go back and read it first. These are not standalones and should be read in order for the full story.
This book did not disappoint. I was hooking from the start and on the edge of my seat the entire time. I truly had no idea what was going to happen next and loved every single twist and turn to this story.

The bond between Evelyn and her Variant’s is stronger than ever, however, they still need to be careful. The world can’t know that Evelyn is a vital. But when more facts start coming out about who Evelyn is and her connection to Alec, Josh, Ethan and Tyler, will they be able to keep her safe? Will they all be able to fully give themselves over to her?

I didn’t think anything could top Variant Lost, however, this one blew it out of the water. It was full of suspense, drama, happiness and some steaminess. I love seeing the bond between Evelyn and her guys grow and become stronger. Evelyn’s friendship with Dot may be one of my favorite things though. Dot cracks me up. The added mix of Melior Group men added to the story and their relationships we everyone, specifically Dot, was great.

Though, after the way this book ended I CANNOT wait until book three is out and we see where this story is going because I’m sure that will be one wild ride for everyone.

The Empire is the steamy, fantastic conclusion to the Filthy Trilogy and the end of Harper and Eric’s story.

After how The Princess ended I couldn’t wait to read this and to see what was next in store for Harper and Eric. This book did not disappoint. Questions were answered, mysteries were solved, secrets were revealed.

The Kingston family is one crazy mystery. They are full of secrets and making enemies left and right. They are out for Eric and Harper, but Eric has a plan to rid their lives of it for good. The question is will they make out alive and unarmed by whatever secrets may be revealed?

With each book I fell more and more in love with Eric. That man has been through so much and has had to fight his entire life. He is a genius and will protect those he loves with everything he has, especially Harper. Their love for each other is what kept them going, kept them fighting. It wasn’t always an easy ride, but they fought the fight together.

This was the perfect ending to Eric and Harper’s story. This trilogy is a must read!

I loved that we got more of the Walker Security guys, especially Savage. I was more than excited to find out that he is getting his own trilogy!

There aren’t enough words to describe how much I loved this story. It was sinfully addictive. A true forbidden romance.

Tressa finds herself on the steps of St. Michael’s. She is homeless, she is penniless, but the church will take her in, the church will give her shelter, give her a job helping others. Though, this isn’t the first time she has been to this church. It played a role in her past. Father Bastien works at St. Michael’s. He is a Catholic priest. He is a Holy man. However, he may have found his temptation in Tressa. Will he give into this temptation and forsake his vows to the church?

The chemistry between Tressa and Bastien was intense and it was instant. They tried to fight it, they tried not to give into the temptation that kept pulling them together, but when they gave in it was explosive. This isn’t a light read, not even close. It was intense. The road for both Tressa and Bastien was far from easy and full of many ups and downs.

I love forbidden romances and this one was a different take on it. I loved every single moment, every single twist and turn. Tressa and Bastien’s relationship was never easy and they both grew a ton throughout the story. For anyone who loves forbidden romances this is a must read!

Welcome back to the world of Male Escorts. Case own’s Allure Agency, a successful escort business, he has a book deal and he also has a slight performance problem. His best friend and employee, Ryder, asks him for a favor. Hire his little sister to help around the office and to help keep him on track with writing his book.

What Case didn’t expect? Sienna to be drop dead gorgeous and smart. The problem? She is his best friends little sister and one of his employees. Sienna feels the instant connection between them, she isn’t the biggest fan of her boss when she first starts at Allure, but things change. Will these two cross the boss/employee relationship line?

I loved Case. There is so much depth to his character. You wouldn’t expect it, especially given his profession but he is full of surprises. Sienna is fresh out of college, unsure of what she wants to do with her life but Case helps her, he gives her opportunities she never thought were possible. I loved their relationship, their chemistry, their banter and their shameless flirting.

Ryder and Case were both briefly mentioned in Boyfriend for Hire and I loved getting to know a lot more about them throughout this story. I also loved that we got some more glimpses of Nic and Elle.

Kendall Ryan is one of my top authors and this story did not disappoint and has quickly become one of my favorites.

A.S. Teague is a new to me author but the blurb of this book really caught my attention. When I started it I wasn’t sure how I felt about the story but as it progressed I fell more and more in love with the story and with the relationship between Brooke and Griffin.

Brooke’s best friend, Mel, drags her on a trip to Vegas. They end up running into a group of friends who were just recently drafted to the NFL and were in Vegas celebrating. Brooke and one of the players, Griffin, hit it off and had one great night together and that’s all it was supposed to be. But what happens when Brooke brings some of Vegas home with her?

I loved Brooke and Griffin’s relationship. Though at times, Griffin was slightly immature, but he was also young when they first met. Despite the situation that they are both in, they found a way that worked for them and for their daughter. They were great co-parents and had a great relationship with each other. They didn’t have the most conventional start and it wasn’t always easy getting to the end but Brooke and Griff are truly each other’s everything from the moment their daughter was born.

This book took my on an emotional rollercoaster. It made me laugh, it had me swooning, and it had me crying. Note to self: don’t read out in public, because you may ugly cry while reading. If you enjoy sports romances, if you enjoy surprise baby romances this is one for you. You won’t regret taking the chance on this sweet story.

Ballers with Benefits is book three in the Double Play series and this may be the hottest book of them all! Bella and Damon’s chemistry was kindle melting. I felt like the temperature in my home went up 30 degrees while I was reading this book. Nicole definitely knows how to write some steamy scenes. Of course, that’s not all this book is about. Bella and Damon are both drinking over the end of their relationships, so why not use each other to numb the pain?

Bella is one sassy lady and I loved that about her. Damon is a former playboy who is changing his ways. They decide it will only be one night, but one night turns into two nights and their relationship continues to grow from there. They both have a lot to overcome, but they are perfect for each other. They understand each other.

Since this is all about Bella we got more of Charlotte and Gabriel, Devin, Avery, Savannah and Jackson, Lacey and a few new faces. I love getting more of the previous characters and seeing where they are now in their lives and of course, meeting new faces who will play major roles in future books. I can’t wait to see what is in store for Devin and Lacey next!!

I absolutely loved this story! Carly and Fin, ugh they are both perfect. There’s no words to describe how much I love them.

Carly and Fin didn’t start off on the best terms. Carly was kept up most of the night due to the party going on in her new upstairs neighbor’s apartment so she does what any normal person would do. She plays music loudly at six am to wake up her new neighbor. Fin happens to show up at her door and complains about the loud music, only he isn’t her new neighbor, his sister is.

Carly may be one of my favorite heroines ever. She is a free spirit, she is truly a ray of sunshine and radiates happiness to those around her. Of course, she isn’t perfect and has some issues with her family but who doesn’t? Fin takes broodiness to the max but you can’t help but love him, especially the more you go to know him and his story throughout the book.

The secondary characters in this story were also fantastic, especially Susie (Fin’s sister, Carly’s new neighbor and friend). Susie’s story truly broke my heart, but she is a warrior and fighting to make everything right again. This story was beautiful, it was heart breaking, emotional and oh man, was it steamy! I felt like I needed to fan myself a few times while reading this.

This story was a page turner and I didn’t want it to end. A must read of 2019 and one I would highly recommend to anyone and everyone!

J. Sterling is a new to me author and I absolutely loved this enemies to lover romance.
James and Julia grew up right next to each other, however, they were also told they could never be friends, so dating was definitely out of the question.
Their families have been at war with each other for generations. James and Julia were raised to hate each other. This story was a very modern Romeo and Juliet romance. They claim to hate each other, but there is a fine line between love and hate.

James wasn’t afraid to admit his feelings and everyone around him knew that he only had eyes for one person, Julia. Julia on the other hand was afraid to admit her true feelings about James. She wasn’t willing to risk everything on something that was a for sure thing.

I loved the chemistry between James and Julie. I loved the family feud aspect of the story. The town bet. Everyone wanted those two to be together, well, minus their families. This was a fun enemies to lovers romance and perfect for a relaxing afternoon.
