This is a new to me book and author and I was hooked from the very beginning.

Apprehension is book one of Sabrina and Jayce’s story. They grew up next door and then Sabrina moved aware. Flash forward a few years and she is back, however, Jayce isn’t the person she remembered.

This is a shorter story and was quick read for me, but I enjoyed the story. I loved the chemistry between Sabrina and Jayce, they truly couldn’t stay away from each other. I loved that there is some dangerous situations throughout the story when it comes to Jayce. It added some extra suspense to it.

This is book one of their story and it does end on somewhat of a cliffhanger if you ask me, there is definitely more I want to learn about these two characters and what happens next for them given how this story ended for them.

This is a new to me author but I love the misadventures series.

This story was not what I was expecting but in a good way. It was full of turns I never expected. I was hooked from the start. Oliver is swoon-worthy, but then again when you come up with the idea to be a book boyfriend for women you kind of have to be. Of course, he befriends his neighbor to help him out and his roommate, Skye, thinks it is a terrible idea. When Oliver begins to have a relationship with one of his clients how will that affect his new company and his friendship with Skye?

I loved the bond between Oliver and Skye. You can tell that those two have been best friends forever and are more like siblings than anything. Oliver, well he was swoon-worthy there were also times I was just sitting and thinking ‘wtf are you doing’. Bailey, Bailey, Bailey, I don’t even know what to say about her. I still don’t know how I really feel about her. I want to like her, but I also know where she is coming from so it’s hard to hate her.

I enjoyed this book and like I said earlier it wasn’t what I expected at all. It is a sweet story with some twists and turns.

This story started with a bang, literally. Cory and Natasha (Sasha) started out as best friends and quickly progressed to lovers. Their relationship was sweet, Cory would do anything to make Sasha happy. Honestly, he was the perfect boyfriend. Well……until he made probably the biggest mistake of his life. Sasha was crushed. Flash forward 20 years in New York, Sasha and Cory run into each other again and the chemistry between the two is hotter than ever. But when secrets of the past come out will their relationship be able to survive?

Move over Michael and Cooper, you have been replaced by Cory. Despite what he did as a teen, Cory is hands down one of the sweetest guys EVER! When he and Sasha end up meeting up for coffee after 20 years there is no denying the intense chemistry between them. A certain scene in the court building involving an angry Cory (you’ll know it when you read it) was wow, no words for it. Plus, it lead to one of the best surprises in the story, at least that is how I see it.

I devoured this story. I was hooked and couldn’t put it down. I had to find out what was going to happen. I want so much more of Cory and Sasha because I fell in love with them and their relationship. Though, I am rather excited about the next book, especially after reading the teaser at the end and getting a peak at one of the characters in Cory’s story.

A must read book for me!

After meeting Kennedy and Kate in the first book I was super excited to find out their story and this one did not disappoint. I always knew that Kennedy would be my favorite.

They have worked together for years, Kate has a had a crush on Kennedy forever, Kennedy has remained completely clueless. Though, when is younger brother Jack comes to town his truly feelings begin to come out but will he realize it before it is too late?

Not only did I love Kennedy, but I enjoyed all that we got of the other Dawson family members, so hopefully, maybe there is more of them in the future somehow. Kennedy's father is one wise men, I loved everything he had to say to his son. Kate is sweet, she is hard working and I loved how she grew throughout the story.

I love Lauren Layne and I love this series. A must read of 2019.

This book is a little bit darker and probably not for everyone but I was intrigued from reading the blurb. Luca and Chloe’s story is one wild ride that I enjoyed.

They met when Chloe was eight, and she knew from that moment that Luca was hers and would always be hers. She spent her entire childhood trying to convince Luca that they should be together. She was like a sister to his younger brother, Freddie. But one night Freddie and Luca left and never came back to town. Flash forward a few years and Chloe is back in their lives and both Luca and Freddie will do anything to keep their girl safe.

Nikki Summers is a new to me author and I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I was hooked from the beginning. The bond between Chloe and Luca and Freddie was great. The suspense kept me on the edge of my seat. Like I mentioned earlier, this is a darker story, but it is also sweet. Luca definitely has a soft side that comes out from to time. Chloe was a little rough around the edges for me, she was stubborn and sometimes I just wanted to slap the girl and tell her to get over it. To be fair, I wanted to do that to Luca a few times.

I hope that we get more Luca and Chloe in the future. I also hope that we get more of Freddie, because I adored him. I loved Gina too, okay, I loved all the secondary characters including Vinnie and Marco. I am not ready to say goodbye to them all yet.

For those who love a little bit of a darker romance this is definitely a must read.

Christina Dennison is a new to me author and this story was new to me.

Coming in I was slightly confused as to what was going on since this is book two of a trilogy and I haven’t read the first book. That didn’t distract me from the story and I felt there was a enough information provided I was able to get the main points of the story.

Francesca’s life is truly a world wind. Her life takes her all over the place, though given her status you never know who is watching. I have mixed feelings about Francesca. I liked her but at times I just couldn’t help but role my eyes. Selim, oh Selim, I just couldn’t bring myself to like him. From the start of this book there was something that just bothered me about him and that didn’t change when I finished the story.

The plot of the story was interesting and I feel like it would have definitely helped to read the first book first, but again I felt like the main plot points were explained so you didn’t feel super lost. I am looking forward to see what happens next with these characters though.

I loved Violet. She comes across as a mystery, she is brash and she has a mouth of a sailor. She doesn’t let her family and friends see who she really is. No one truly knows the real Violet, well except for one man. That man shows up unexpectedly at her sister’s wedding and sends Violet into a panic.

I loved Violet and Andre’s story going back to how the two first met. Andre is super swoon worthy, talk about a perfect book boyfriend. He knows the real side to Violet and he is key into getting her to show everyone in her life who cares about her.

This story had me laughing at the things that would come out of Violet’s mouth, but then I would find my heart breaking for Violet. She is a badass and I love her. She quickly become one of my favorite book heroines. She does so much that no one even knows about it.

This story is a great romance. It was sweet, it is hot, has great characters and is truly everything you could want in a romance. For fans of Melissa Foster or for anyone looking for a great romance with lots of depth this is a must read!

Victoria Ashley is a new to me author and I’ve been seeing a lot about this book all over social media so I had check it out.

Jensen Blake is a broken man, he is known as the town manwhore. He doesn’t kiss, he doesn’t do emotional hook ups. He is definitely your one and done type of guy. Despite what he enjoys physically he is successful. He owners a construction business and a rental business. The man does well for himself.

Camille Reynolds is a fourth grade teacher. When her boyfriend and fellow teacher cheats on her it sends her life into a tailspin. She needs to move out, she needs to get away from him. Luckily for her the place right next to her best friend’s is available, the landlord is none other than Jensen.
Jensen is cocky, he is arrogant and doesn’t care that everyone knows that. Cami wants nothing to do with her sexy new landlord. I really really really wanted to dislike Jensen but it was hard the more you got to know his story. He is so beautifully broken and Cami is the perfect person to put those broken pieces back together.

This is one the best enemies to lovers romances I have read. I loved Jensen and Cami. Their banter was priceless and their chemistry was kindle melting hot. A definite must read book!

What do you do in Mexico with a stranger that you will never see again? You let go of your inhabitations, you take risks and you enjoy life. Slade and Mack did that to the fullest, which led to hot hotel moments in Mexico.

What happens when you end up running to that stranger again?

This book had me laughing, it had me frustrated and it broke my heart a little but I loved every single moment of it. The banter between Slade and Mack was great, their chemistry was undeniable and Slade’s alpha male ways had me swooning. Their friends, Jagger and Matt, were great additions to the story and I look forward to getting more of their stories in the future (hopefully).

A must read book of 2019 for me!

This is a new to me author and this is a different story but I loved it!

Elle is a chef judge on a new reality cooking competition, she is getting ready to open her own restaurant, so the publicity is good for her career. She is feisty, she is driven, I kept calling her the female Gordon Ramsey in my head while reading.

Austin is a constant on the show, he is surprised to even be on the show, but winning could completely change is life and his sisters life. He has no formal training like others on the show, but definitely has the skill.

Elle and Austin are from completely different backgrounds, but they are perfect for each other. Austin can hep Elle lighten up. I mean, he did teach her how to hug. She was able to help him find the confidence in his cooking to help with his career.

There is a year age gap between Elle and Austin, she is 32 and he is 22. I know that isn’t for everyone, but Austin is mature of his age. He has a good head on his shoulders. The chemistry between the two is sizzling. This story is proof that opposites truly do attract and in the case of Elle and Austin lead to loads of steaminess and a forbidden romance.

This romance was fun from start to finish and I love that they were chefs!
