After meeting Kennedy and Kate in the first book I was super excited to find out their story and this one did not disappoint. I always knew that Kennedy would be my favorite.

They have worked together for years, Kate has a had a crush on Kennedy forever, Kennedy has remained completely clueless. Though, when is younger brother Jack comes to town his truly feelings begin to come out but will he realize it before it is too late?

Not only did I love Kennedy, but I enjoyed all that we got of the other Dawson family members, so hopefully, maybe there is more of them in the future somehow. Kennedy's father is one wise men, I loved everything he had to say to his son. Kate is sweet, she is hard working and I loved how she grew throughout the story.

I love Lauren Layne and I love this series. A must read of 2019.
