I honestly didn’t think it was possible to fall more and more for Ollie, but getting his side of the story made that possible. I devoured this story just like the first and I couldn’t put it down. I was cheering for Ollie and Lucky to have their happy ending because they deserve it. They deserve love and happiness and they were absolutely perfect for one another.

Power is the fourth book in the Seal’ed series and is Danny aka Newb’s story. This one different addition to the series in a good way.

I have no idea who that woman is, but I damn sure will never forget her shaking the fog from my confused brain.

Danny feels lost. He feels out of place with the group. He is the newest member to the Seal team and isn’t the only one who has paired off with someone else. Danny and the crew are in Vegas for Logan and Katie’s wedding, when in the elevator Danny has an encounter with a woman and that changes everything inside of him.

Layla is a Domme. She is the CEO of her own business. She craves control in her career and in her personal life. After the elevator run in she is captivated by Danny. After almost running over Danny while he is out with his friends, she welcomes him in her car and things begin to bloom from there.

I am so excited to finally get Danny’s story. I enjoyed the fact that Layla was the dominant one in their relationship, it truly makes the story stand out in my eyes. The chemistry between Danny and Layla was fantastic. I love how Katie is with Danny, she truly cares for him and wants to include him. When the rest of the group kind of pushes him away, especially once Layla comes into the picture. Another fantastic, steamy addition to the series.

Want is book two in The Ryder Brothers series. Jake Ryder is a singer, a songwriter and a music composer. While filming a video he met a talent dancer, Marlee, and was instantly drawn to her. Marlee ended up moving from the Midwest to LA and they become best friends and roommates. Best friends will help you out with anything right?

Marlee needed Jake to teach her about sex. She was a virgin and didn’t want to reach out to some random stranger for help. Jake already has a massive crush on his best friend. Will Jake continue to be the teacher or will this turn into something more?

You got me humming before I knew the words. You’re the one I’m leaning towards.

I adore Jake and Marlee. They are best friends turned loves and their chemistry is off the charts. Jake is sweet, sexy and definitely an alpha. Marlee is beautiful and innocent, but not in a ditzy way. I loved that their slow burn romance. The story was fairly light hearted and had me laughing a few times. Their story wasn’t drama heavy, anything bad that happened in their relationship was their own doing. I enjoy the bits we got of Nick and the more we got of Jonas (whose story I am very excited about).

I forgot the umbrella. I remembered a back up battery charger, lipstick, condoms, my passport, disposable toothbrush, and an appropriate amount of petty cash in case of emergency.

Zandy is in England helping a professor who is friends with her father before starting Library School. Before heading to his home in the English country side she has a night in London and there is one goal in mind. To lose her virginity. While trying to find a local bar she runs into a handsome stranger, who she thinks may be a perfect candidate for her plan.

Oliver feels something instantly for this girl and when he finds out her plan to have sex with some random stranger he instantly feels protective of her. He walks her back to her hotel and finds out that they are staying in the same place. He wants to be the one she has sex with, but he knows he shouldn’t. He shouldn’t give in to his deepest desires, but it’s one night and then they will never see each other again.

Oh this book is hot and steamy from the very beginning. Zandy just wants to be a good girl for her professor. The tension between the two was so thick at times, I kept thinking to myself will they or won’t they? I felt like I could cheer when they finally gave into each other. Then at times I had so much anger towards to Oliver, because he just couldn’t get out of his own head and his past.
This story is the perfect mix of sexy and sweet.

Falling in love with my boss was stupid and also thinking he would reciprocate even more stupid.

Indy and Cooper met years ago at a party. They were supposed to meet after Cooper’s band performed but by the time they were done Indy was nowhere to be found. Now, Cooper is Indy’s boss and the attraction between the two is still as strong as ever.

He’s drop dead gorgeous, and the bastard knows it. The cocky bastard flexes his arms and muscles under the neatly trimmed suit-clad exterior every chance he gets.

This was a short, but explosive office romance. Indy was a feisty, badass heroine. She was a hard worker and Cooper was wrapped around her finger. I love a strong female and Indy fit that bill perfectly. Cooper on the other hand, that man frustrated me at times. I wanted him to talk to Indy, to tell her to wait for him, I wanted him to just stop acting like a stupid idiot and get his stuff together and be with the girl he loves.

You’re it for me. I just can’t the same for you. I’m a selfish bastard, I know. It’s me, not you.

I loved Cooper’s way of wooing Indy back and I am so glad how everything worked out in the end. I enjoyed that Indy became close with Cooper’s friends, especially with Michael. The fact that she was able to reach out to him when times got rough and the fact that Michael was able to knock some sense into Cooper and help him get his girl back.

For anyone who is fan of hot office romances this is definitely one to check out.

Everyone knows that Thanksgiving can be an awkward family holiday, try having Thanksgiving with your family and the ex you are still in love with family. Steven’s Thanksgiving plans got a little complicated when he told his ex, Cassidy, that he had a girlfriend and they would both be at Thanksgiving dinner in 3 weeks. Just one little problem, Steven didn’t have a girlfriend.

Ginny is Steven’s social awkward but beautiful neighbour. Steven finds out that she has no plans for Thanksgiving and invites her to join him and to be his “fake” girlfriend. In return, Steven will help Ginny become more confident so we can get a promotion at her job, a promotion she desperately needs.

I loved watching Ginny come out of her shell with the help of Steven and sweet little Cocoa Puff. She still had the shyness to her, but she was able to interact with others without completely shutting down. Ginny is a character that anything can easily relate to, because who doesn’t experience social anxiety from time to time. Steven on the other hand, I wasn’t a big fan of him in the beginning. I hated that he kept telling Ginny he was still in love with his ex and would spend more time talking to her than the girl who was suppose to be his “girlfriend”. Thankfully, Steven did redeem himself and by the end of the story I loved him.

I love how this series is following the same group of people through the various holidays and I can’t wait to see what Christmas has in store.

I received an ARC of this book from the author and it isn’t a style of romance I would normally read, but I’m all for branching out discovering new stories. The blurb got my attention and grabbed my attention. I am so glad that I decided to take a chance on this story, because it was so good! I got sucked into the story and couldn’t put it down.

I loved Eve, despite having a string of bad birthdays and not really feeling like she belonged anywhere after a tragic event, she still remained strong. She was finally somewhere were she could form friendships and bonds. Not only was Eve a very well-developed character, but the secondary characters were as well. You were able to get a feel of all those that Eve was close to and you were rooting for everyone by the end. It helps set the story and allows for future books in this series.
Variant Lost is definitely a slow burn, reverse harm and the chemistry between Eve and her guys was on fire. It didn’t feel like she had more of a connection with one versus the others which was nice. She truly wanted to be equally split between them all.

This story was one crazy emotional rollercoaster and the ending did leave many unanswered questions about what is going to happen next in this story. This is a fantastic debut novel from Kaydence Snow and one that I would recommend to friends.

Getting Her Back is a great fantastic second chance romance. Audrey wants a baby and she is ready to be a single mom. Signing up for an app, she matches with a man who is willing to give her what she wants, a baby and to walk away after she is pregnant. Sounds simple, right? Well what happens when the man who wants to help you is the one who broke your heart years ago?
I loved how strong Aubrey is. She had her heart broken, but she turned her life around. She works hard, she loves her art and she is willing to live her dream and have a baby. She knows it won’t be easy as a single mother, but she still doesn’t care. She wants to experience that feeling. Christian is a sweet and sexy alpha. Though, at times I wanted to slap him, I mean he just walked out when Aubrey started asking the tough questions about their past relationship together.
The chemistry between the two is explosive and even after years apart they still can’t get enough of each other, they know how to read each other’s bodies. I love that Christian is willing to work hard to prove himself to Aubrey and to her family after the heartbreak he caused.
Penny Wylder is queen of the smutty, sweet, over top romances and I seriously can’t get enough of them.

This is the first book I’ve read by Serena Bell and I can definitely say that it won’t be my last. I absolutely loved everything about this story! It was sweet, it was heartbreaking and it was sexy.
Sawyer is still grieving the loss of his wife, but isn’t against having one night stands. Elle is fresh of a divorcing from her cheating husband and her friends tell her she just needs to let lose one night. Well, what happens when you hot one night stand turns out to be your new next door neighbour and your children end up being best friends?
All of the characters stole my heart in this story. Normally, it is just the main characters, but in Sleepover I fell for Sawyer and his son Jonah and Elle and her son Madden. The two boys formed an instant friendship and were just perfect for each other. The chemistry between Sawyer and Elle was off the charts, I mean they had some hot foreplay. I think who I loved the most and I wish there was more of was Sawyer and Elle’s elderly neighbour. That lady was in the front seat for the Sawyer and Elle show!
This is a different kind of second chance romance, because they were both previously in relationships with other people but finally were able to take the chance on love again with each other. This is definitely a must read book!
