Getting Her Back is a great fantastic second chance romance. Audrey wants a baby and she is ready to be a single mom. Signing up for an app, she matches with a man who is willing to give her what she wants, a baby and to walk away after she is pregnant. Sounds simple, right? Well what happens when the man who wants to help you is the one who broke your heart years ago?
I loved how strong Aubrey is. She had her heart broken, but she turned her life around. She works hard, she loves her art and she is willing to live her dream and have a baby. She knows it won’t be easy as a single mother, but she still doesn’t care. She wants to experience that feeling. Christian is a sweet and sexy alpha. Though, at times I wanted to slap him, I mean he just walked out when Aubrey started asking the tough questions about their past relationship together.
The chemistry between the two is explosive and even after years apart they still can’t get enough of each other, they know how to read each other’s bodies. I love that Christian is willing to work hard to prove himself to Aubrey and to her family after the heartbreak he caused.
