I absolutely adore anything with vampires in it, so i was super excited to receive an arc of this book!

It is hard to say anything about this book without spoiling things!
But Sabine was such a lovely main character, her thought process and growth where interesting and i cannot wait what will happen in the sequel!
I would have loved to see a bit more of the love triangle, as it felt a little one sided but there will be a whole other book in which that will hopefully get more attention!!

Where can i find the right lamp to kiss because hot damn i wanna make a wish!!
I think there should be much more paranormal romance with Genies in it because this was so fun!!
Brindi has an amazing writing style and i cannot wait to read more of her work and especially more of our favorite genies 😍

This book was such a blast! I want more worldbuilding! Not because it was lacking but because the world is so wonderfully and interesting I just want to be able to explore it all!
I've never ever read of a more interesting magic school than this one!

I want myself some of these adorable creatures pretty please I am in love !

I absolutely cannot wait to read book two and discover more of the amazing secrets of this world and our sweet main character!

This book was such a treat! It's all the good fairy magic parts I love about YA but in a very nice adult version! We have our super sexy fae, adorable brownies and a horrible villain, what else do we need in a fantasy books?😍
The ending felt a bit rushed but I cannot wait for book two to find out what will happen to our main characters!!

The bullying

This book very much felt like a 200+ pages prequel and while I absolutely have some hopes for book two I felt like there wasn't enough happening, I absolutely assumed it would have more spice, or if not that some more plot movement

Gosh this book was so good!
I didn't realise how much I missed vampire books until I read one this good!

As someone who has never been to Las Vegas it definitely sounds like the perfect place to found a drop dead gorgeous vampire!
There was an excellent balance between plot and spice which I both really enjoyed!

I really hope we will get more about these characters because I for sure know that this book will be on my mind for days!!

There is very heavy Christianity that is not mentioned anywhere, there is no explicit homophobia, ableism or rasism but it feels implied and as a queer disabled person this book has me super uncomfortable

I needed a little time to get into the 2013 slang being as I didn't understand it then and still barely do but once I was through that i really enjoyed this book!

While I didn't like all "voices" the author used for reading, I did love how sassy she made Mila!

The world building was so interesting! I have never before read an afterworld system like this and I love how it works! I cannot wait to read more of this series!!

I wanted to love this book so much, but sadly it wasn't meant to be.
For me it felt as if we were dropped in book two or three of a series with no prior knowledge on our characters.
