Review to come
❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️

This was the perfect read to finish off pride month! It started off a bit iffy for me because it seemed a bit predictable but it got so much better and I really really enjoyed it! Perfect representation for f/f romance and i totally saw my own life in this story!

Definitely recommend if you looking for a new lgbtq+ / own voices novel.

This is the poetry collection I’ve been looking for. Definitely will be picking up Princess very soon!

I can’t remember the last time I really rated a book 3 stars but I truly had to think about this one. Although I enjoyed the premise of this story and the message it was delivering, their were a lot of moments where I felt disconnected. With the love triangle, and the mother/daughter relationship and the friendships/bullying at school it was a lot to take in at times because I just didn’t understand the meaning of why something happened or the reasoning of what people said. Although Willowdean Dickson (Dumplin’) made some good points and she had me cheering for her, I sometimes just got annoyed of her too. Also, If Dolly Parton wasn’t in reference to this story than my rating would have went down a bit more.

I however do see myself picking up Puddin’ because I am curious on how this story continues and this story definitely need to be read cause all the feelings these characters have are true and real.

DNF’d at chapter 8.

I couldn’t do it. I really wanted to enjoy this but it just wasn’t for me. I was really intrigued in the representation in this book but it was a let down and I feel sad about it. Wah!

When you start an audiobook of one of your fav actress’s that you’ve been wanting to read since you first saw their book on the shelves and finish it in less than 2 days. 5 STARSS!!

I absolutely love Anna Faris. She’s the funniest, quirkiest , real, honest and heartfelt person in the media. I know without a doubt if I ever got the chance to meet her in real life, we would instantly become such good friends!

This book hit me. I was not expecting to get teary eyed but when the chapter came about Jack I was crying on my way through the Starbucks drive through. I also laughed a lot and just felt joy listening to Anna’s voice and story!

I’m so so glad I got this on audio and i really hope to get the hard copy very soon. Also, I’m glad I decided to participate in the #24in48 readathon cause I spent my hours finishing this book with a bunch of other lovely readers! ❤️

After watching Sabrina’s 5mil+ views of “explaining my depression to my mother.” video I couldn’t stop thinking or talking about it. THEN i found out she debuted her first poetry collection and my heart felt so much! I had to buy it right away and I’m so glad I did. This collection was beautiful in such a way that only the heart can explain. I will be reading this over and over several times and highly encourage you to watch her video and pick up this copy to add to your collection. It’s definitely one I’ll cherish for a very long time.

An audiobook I needed.

So real and so hilarious.
