Review to come! ❤️

4.5 Stars for me. Ah! This book was so good. I was hooked from the very first page. I’m so glad I picked this up! My book copy was annotated by the author (thanks to @pagehabit!) and that was a really cool to read the author’s thoughts and little notes he added with the story he wrote. You should truly pick this one up!

Thank you so much to D.E. Night for sending me a copy of this magical book for an honest review. I honestly have so many fantastic feelings about this! When I saw the cover of this book, I knew I needed to get my hands on it! Magical powers, magical school, magical creatures and friends who help her along the way definitely give you Harry Potter vibes in all the right ways! You’re following a young girl named Ivy who discovers she’s not just an mundane who she was brought up to be, she lived in a world where she was aware of magical powers but never thought she had any of her own. I had so much fun reading this and discovering all the magic she is surrounded by as Ivy discovers it all herself. I felt like I could easily put myself in her shoes. When she turns 16 she finds out she has something special about her and gets to attend the Halls of Ivy which is a magical school of Schriever’s and Royals. The moment she arrives, weird things start to happen where she discovers more about her past, her magic and how important she really is. The threat regarding the Dark Queen gives you the feeling of nervous-ness and worry throughout the entire book because you never know when she will come around. The teachers were all fascinating in their own way as you discover little bits about them and I absolutely loved her friends that she became close to. Fyn was just a really nice friend who you could sense a feeling of more than friends but it was never the main focus of the book which is what I liked because it’s so much more about the magic inside the story that captures your attention. Her friend Rebecca was someone who I could easily be friends with and I would really appreciate her company. All in all, I really enjoyed this story, I loved the magical powers, the creatures, the unexpected feelings I had throughout reading it and how I couldn’t predict what was going to happen after each page that I turned. I can’t wait for the next book! I would highly recommend this book if you enjoy something that gives you Harry Potter feelings and just magic all together. It was very exciting and a beautifully written. D.E. Night is hosting a giveaway to win a free copy as well as a trip to Disney World so I would definitely recommend checking it out soon! Enjoy

Adam Silvera has taken over my entire heart once again. This story following Mateo and Rufus captured my heart in so many ways. You truly need to pick this one up if you haven’t already.

I have also died at the end. 💔❤️
