This was a true delight to read. It was like sitting by a campfire and listening to the myths of old. They were so full of adventure, humor and gore. I loved it and Loki is still my fave trash child.
This book was exquisitely written. The world was dark, magical, scary, and sexy. The ending broke my heart. The only gripe I had was that it was definitely a lot longer then it needed to be which I was feeling a little over half way through. I don't mind long books, but you could feel this one just being dragged needlessly on. Other than that I would highly recommend this to fans of Labyrinth (obviously) and to fans of swoony/angsty love stories. I love me some Goblin King and you bet your ass I was picturing david bowie in the role.♡
This book was pretty badass. The female friendships were inspiring and the story was thrilling. I can't wait to read the next one. The only downfall was that I found several of the "twists" to be way too predictable.
So, I picked this book up this morning at 7:30 thinking I would do a little morning reading and did not put it down until I finished it (around 10 am). It was a very cute love story and I really identified with Autumn in terms of her struggle with anxiety. This book was a very adorable, quick, yet satisfying read.♡
It started off rather slow, but when it picked up, IT PICKED UP. I'm starting the next book asap!
So, I absolutely adored getting to revisit Forks and I loved reading this new spin on Twilight. However, I still prefer the original ;-) #TeamEdwardForever
This was the perfect read for International Women's Day! I loved reading about all these diverse women across the timeline of U.S. history! absolutely fantastic!
