So, obviously after reading Bite Me I was still in the mood for Vampires. I had this book sitting on my shelf and after I started reading it I realized how much I had missed the brotherhood. This series is action packed, sexy, and fun. This one in particular was heartbreaking though due to Z's backstory, but the ending was just perfect (I cried). I need to get more books in this series soon.

I loved this book. The plot lines, the characters, and the topics were all so wonderfully handeled. The characters in particular were all so vividly drawn that it was so easy to get absorbed in Ramona's world. And the topics of sexual orientation, gender, race, socioeconomic status, family, and so much more were so thoughtfully and seamlessly woven within the story. The writing as always was top notch (there were so many memorable quotes!). And it had me feelin' all of the feels. But, apart from all that it just left me filled with hope, not only for Ramona's future but for mine as well.

Perfection.😭😍🤤☺️

A very cute, fun, and creative mermaid tale! An immersive adventure filled with thrills, heartbreak, humor, and fierce female friendships! I would recommend this to anyone looking for an engaging mermaid story.

I received an advance copy of this novel for review. The Crossing is a slow read, but in the end I did like the journey it took me on. The premise was unique and the way in which the author chose to tell the story was original. The writing really set the mood of overall hopelessness while also providing the reader with worthy passages to ponder. However, I didn't really connect to any of the characters and the slow and somber pace was not my favorite, but as hopeless as the novel felt it still left me with an ember of hope at the end.

This book proves that there's never one type of happy ending. I devoured this captivating story of resilience, romance, and finding happiness in spite of hopeless circumstances. I particularly believe my OTA friends would enjoy reading this inspiring story. I highly, highly recommend this.

A solid sequel!

I received an advance copy of this book for review. I don't read a whole lot of historical romance, but that might have to change because I really enjoyed this one! It had a great story, great characters, and a lovely happily ever after.
