Ramona Blue
by Julie Murphy
I loved this book. The plot lines, the characters, and the topics were all so wonderfully handeled. The characters in particular were all so vividly drawn that it was so easy to get absorbed in Ramona's world. And the topics of sexual orientation, gender, race, socioeconomic status, family, and so much more were so thoughtfully and seamlessly woven within the story. The writing as always was top notch (there were so many memorable quotes!). And it had me feelin' all of the feels. But, apart from all that it just left me filled with hope, not only for Ramona's future but for mine as well.
