I'm a sucker for alien/human love stories. I enjoyed this book. Except, I am kind of tired of the whole aliens that look basically human just hotter thing. Why couldn't we give them more varied features and a whole other standard of beauty and make their culture more intricate as well? This book is a genre that I enjoy, but it's nothing new or different. The Lux series (and my sexy blue aliens in Ruby Dixon's series) did it better in my opinion. However, if these types of sci-fi stories are of interest to you I would check this out for a fluffy and quick read, but don't expect to find something you haven't read before.

It has been years since I read the first book, but since the stories are separate(Just set in the same world) it didn't matter that I had waited so long. I forgot how much I enjoyed these Sci-Fi thrillers. This book had me on the edge of my seat and questioning everyone and everything. I'm excited to finally get to the third one in the series!

If you love Outlander then I think you will love this! Passenger is a wonderful time travel adventure romance; and even more than that it's an examination of shifting cultural norms throughout history! And the way Alaxandra Bracken writes makes you slow down and pay attention to what is happening and really absorbs you completely into this story(the research she must have done really shines through!). I loved the characters and the creativeness in the approach of the time travel trope! And the romance was incredibly swoonworthy! I'll be starting book 2 ASAP because that cliffhanger had me like woah!

Unfortunately I didn't love this one as much as Passenger. Mainly because I was upset about the separation of two of the characters for the majority of the book. It had a really strong ending though (it had me happy teary eyed😢) and the writing and world was just as wonderful as the previous book. I would highly recommend this series to anyone looking for an epic time travel adventure.

I received an advance copy of this book for review. I liked this book. It was a quick read with an interesting unreliable narrator and I always find the stories of mentally unstable women who wish to harm their exes new lover entertaining. However, this book really didn't bring anything new to the table.

This book is not going to be everyone's cup of tea. It was definitely my cup of tea though. It's best going into this completely blind, but I will say this: It was very unsettling and incredibly thought provoking. I will be pondering over this story for a long time.

If you haven't read a Madeline Miller book, then what are you doing with your life? Go read one now! Miller's first novel The Song of Achilles was one of my favorite reads of last year and Circe is for sure one of my favorite reads of this year! If you have even a smidge of interest in Greek mythology then you have to read her books! Circe was an epic novel! And the character of Circe is now one of my favorite female protagonists of all time! O.M.G. this was so incredible!💗

I received an advance copy of this novel in exchange for an honest review and I am so glad I was given the opportunity to read it. I haven't read a whole lot of YA Vampire Fiction in recent years (not since the vampire craze was in full swing thanks to Twilight). I was pleasantly surprised by the originality of this story. I thought the trend of vampires in YA had been played out, but this story brought something new and refreshing to the genre. This story convinced me that we shouldn't put a stake in YA vampire lit just yet. Bite Me was a bloody good time! filled to the brim with humor, action, and romance! The characters and vamp lore were equal parts old school and refreshingly new. I would describe this book as the bad-ass love-child of Twilight and Buffy the Vampire Slayer! I can't wait to sink my teeth into the next installment of The Puritan Coven Series!

I received an adavance copy from the author in exchange for an honest review. This finale was insanely good! If you love gorgeously atmospheric gothic horror stories then you will adore this series! I highly recommend it!
