Well, that was a disappointment. I loved the first two books so much and this one just felt rushed and overly dramatic/unrealistic and the plot was so convoluted. And the nickname Sweet Lips made me cringe every single time I read it. meh.

This book is one of the most thought provoking novels I've ever read. A really terrifying and thrilling read from start to finish. Wow, just wow. Highly, highly recommend!

Heartbreaking.

This book stressed me out. This series stresses me out. I haven't been this stressed out since I read The Hunger Games. I thought the stakes were high in the first book, but they became even higher in this installment. It ended on such a hopeful note, but I know the next one will stress me out too. I just want my little precious babies to be okay. If you're looking for an edge of your seat, biting your nails type read then this is for you.

This series is so intense. I love it!

This series unwound me and rewound me. It was so epic. Like the characters in this series I will never be the same again. Do yourself a favor and read these books asap! It will rip your heart to shreds and patch it back together again.

I received this book from the author for review. I read this book in one sitting and it was an experience I won't soon forget. This is my second book I've read by this author. The first one I read was Breaking Belle(which I had to get because I'm a sucker for anything Beauty and The Beast). I liked that tale a lot, so I thought I would try this one out since she was providing arcs for free. I really enjoyed myself whilst reading this book as well, but there was a particular scene that dropped it down a notch or two on the likeability scale for me. I couldn't tell if what was happening was really consensual involving Bebe and two men hired(?) by Miles. That scene was way to blurry in terms of the consent and enjoyment of Bebe for my liking and so I was rather put off by it. I did adore Bebe and Miles relationship separate from that confusing scene(fiasco). I found their story was overall scintillating, darkly romantic, and beautifully redemptive.

So short, but so very good! I loved getting this glimpse into Hadrian's head.

So, I finally read this book. I enjoyed it quite a lot, but in reading this via audiobook I came to several conclusions. Firstly, audiobooks are nice, but I read quite quickly so the pace is not to my liking(although Rosamund Pike's narration was lovely). Secondly, I enjoyed watching the film adaptations more than reading the book. Thirdly, although I enjoyed myself whilst reading it, I thought the part concerning Lydia and Wickham to drag needlessly long(who cares about them? no one). Lastly, Darcy is just as swoonworthy in book form.
