Interesting but ultimately not worth finishing. Useful to the extent that it helped me understand certain relationships I've had with certain people, but it also definitely demonizes personality disorders in a way that I feel isn't helpful.

Maybe if I mark this as a DNF I'll forget that I was reading it with my ex and I'll actually go back and restart it and finish it this time cause it is GOOD but I've been associating it too much with that asshole to pick it up again.

Will absolutely be returning to this book, but it's so intricate that I want to be able to really focus on it, and that's not where I'm at right now.

This is taking too long and there are other books I’m eager to get to. Will return to this at some point.

I think it's finally time to admit to myself that I'm not gonna be finishing this anytime soon. Will return to it when I'm in the headspace for it.

I love Janelle Monáe, and this collection still interests me, but I am not in the mood for longer short stories right now. Will return to this when I'm in a different headspace.

I simply cannot get through this in ebook format. The plot holes are too glaring. Maybe once it’s out I’ll get it on audiobook and finish it that way cause I do care about at least some of the characters (the lesbians and Mephi, really).

I will likely come back to this at some point out of some twisted sense of obligation, but my book club decided to go with something else and I have no desire to finish this book at this time.
