The best thing about this is the landscape panels. They are absolutely gorgeous. The story itself is relatively simple, though it ends kind of abruptly. Overall, an enjoyable read.

Wow a lot happens in this book! Once again, Clare has created characters that are extremely likable and you're rooting for them the whole time. I seriously love the entire Blackthorn family. Plus, we get cameos from some characters from the past which is always fun to see! I need my hold for the next audiobook to come in now.

I loved the premise of this and the characters really make the story. However, the plot loses a bit of steam halfway through the book, at least for me. Still an enjoyable rom-com, though! I loved that she included recipes throughout.

This was such a lovely read! The characters are absolutely the best part; I loved Esme and Khai. They were so sweet together! I was looking for a happy read and I absolutely found it here.

Honestly, I just wanted to wrap Darius in a hug for most of this book. Khorram writes with such strong emotion, and realistically captures Darius's depression. Plus, you're fully immersed in the Persian culture; so much so that I wish I had listened to the audiobook to hear how some of the language was pronounced. And now I can't wait for the sequel!

Being someone who generally loves the superhero genre, I can't believe it took me so long to read this. But on the plus side, at least all three books are out now! The characters in this book were fantastic, and though some of the plot lines were familiar, it didn't make the book any less exciting. The audiobook was also fantastic; the narration brought both Nova and Adrian to life. Can't wait to read the next one!

Wow, this book is so lyrical and beautiful. Though it felt slow moving, that seemed to be the intent. Petrus writes with such elegance and grace and it flows from the beginning to the end.

I want more of this! I hope there's going to be more of this. Such a fascinating world, and the characters are amazing. Plus, the art really brings the magic to life. Bonus: there's also a diverse cast of characters, and a lot of defiance of gender roles. Such a great read!

This wasn't exactly what I was expecting, but that ended up being okay! Horror isn't really my thing, and this is more psychological than anything else. An exploration of fear and wanting to out yourself in situations where you feel fear.

Things I liked about this: the inclusion of snippets of movie scripts, the fact that it's not a romance, and the focus on friendship.

Greg's voice is unique and engaging, bit at times, he can be a bit much. There were also a few moments that felt a bit cringey to me, but I get why people loved this so much. It's definitely unique!
