I love this series. Every book is a great read and I highly recommend reading them in order so you get to see Nikki grow. I really enjoyed getting to see more of Nikki’s personal life alongside the hunt for a killer. Her family is just adorable despite all the terrible things they’ve been through. This book is packed full of twists and turns to keep you guessing until the dramatic ending.

Trigger warning for rape and sexual assault though.

We’re on book 16 of this series and every addition is as gripping as the first. I absolutely adore this team, they are all so lovable. As always I love Kim despite how stubborn she is. I always thought Alex was the scariest villain in this series but this book brought a whole new level of fear. This book is kind of 2 in 1 because you have the tension and fear of the hunt for the escaped killer and then you have the investigation into the dead family. They both work well together and I was hooked until the terrifying and heartbreaking ending. Highly recommend this series. Although prepare to have your heart broken along the way.

Another great addition to this series. This is book 15 and it still had me hooked. There are so many great characters and I love that we get to know a little bit about them with each book. The hunt for the killer in this book is made more stressful because they are also hunting for a witness/additional victim who is at risk. I had no idea who the bad guy was.

This is such a great series but I recommend reading them in order so that you get the characters' back story. Nikki and her family are adorable and there are so many lovable characters. As usual with Stacy’s books, I had no idea who the bad guy was and was so shocked by the reveal, although it made total sense when you looked back. I was hooked until the end and look forward to more from this series.

This is book 3 in the Out on the Ice series but I read it as a standalone. It’s a series with recurring characters but the focus is on a different pair in each book. I did enjoy this book but it didn’t wow me. I loved Regan and her siblings but wasn’t a huge fan of Tierney. Hope was absolutely adorable though and the saviour was that Regan and Tierney make a very cute couple. It’s fade to black which I think did dull the chemistry a bit but the romance was sweet. I also love the great representation which includes trans and ace characters. They also show what women’s sport is really like and how much they have to fight for a fraction of the support men’s teams get. All in all, it’s an enjoyable cutesy read.

This is my first introduction to Ali Hazelwood and I’m not sure how I feel. All 3 novellas were enjoyable I just found them a bit repetitive. Small girl ends up with “too big” brooding man and also what is with the no condom obsession? That being said they were a fun, steamy read that I read in one go which may be why I struggled with the repetition. I will definitely be checking out more from Hazelwood and see if I get on better with a full length book.

I really enjoy both the Abby Mullen and Zoe Bentley series so was excited to see them work together. It took them a while to find a rhythm and work well together. Their interactions came across a bit awkward and unnatural to start with but they made a great team eventually. I definitely enjoyed the cross over. I love that we also get to see Abby’s personal life and her adorable family.

I’m so intrigued by the cult mentality and this series manages to cover it without being repetitive. I had no idea how or even if they were going to stop them. The end was so tense and you could feel the heat with Abby. This one is definitely darker than the other 2 in the series.

I normally love this series but I really struggled to get into this one and I can’t put my finger on why. It seemed to be a bit long so dragged in places. That being said the twists and turns kept me guessing and there were so many red herrings I had no idea who the killer was. Every time I thought we knew all of the secrets another one was uncovered and one of the twists blew my mind. Whilst it wasn’t my favourite I did still enjoy it and I love Josie, Noah, and the team. 3.5 rounded up to 4

This is such a cute and fun read. There are so many lovable characters. I absolutely adored the friendship group and would definitely read books about the rest of them. They’re such a cool, diverse group of people and I would like to be friends with them immediately. I also fell head over heels for Nina’s Aunt Lorna and her hilarious group of friends.

The romance side was cute. I’m not a huge fan of the miscommunication (or in this case absolutely zero communication) and 3rd act breakup tropes but it was done well enough that I didn't mind. It was a bit frustrating that Nina didn’t have any sort of character growth until the last few chapters but I couldn’t help but love her. The ending did feel a bit rushed but this was a solid read and I very much enjoyed it. I would love a series to get to know the rest of the friendship group better.

This is book 2 in a series but the first one I have read. It worked fine as a stand alone but obviously, it reveals what happened in book 1. I am still going to go back and read it though.

To start with I wasn’t sure how I felt about Laurel but she quickly grew on me. I really enjoy her relationship with Huck and seeing how they navigate their feelings. Huck is a lovable character and his dog is adorable. I’m also very intrigued by Abigail and seeing where the story will go next. I can’t wait for the next installment.

It was a bit slow to get going but once the pace picks up I couldn’t put it down. I had no idea who the killer was and I couldn’t even pin down any suspects. The scene setting is also beautifully done. Rebecca Zanetti is a new author to me but I’m now a huge fan and look forward to reading more.
