Another great addition to the series. Yet again, a stressful read but for once I wasn't having to worry too much about Morgan. There are plenty of twists and turns to keep you hooked and I definitely hadn't worked out who the killer was. The end reveal was not what I was expecting at all. There are so many great side characters and I love getting to see more of the team. It was so nice to see more of Ettie as well.

This collection of poems is so beautiful, and I feel like there is something for everyone. Josie covers falling in love, breakups, losing friends, making friends, platonic love, families, and the loss of pets, along with body image and confidence wobbles and nostalgia.

The book is divided into three categories: Loving, Longing, and Living. Although I read it in two sittings, it is set up perfectly to be dipped into whenever you need to read the comforting words.

In the intro Josie says "I hope when you read this book you remember an emotion you forgot about. I hope it hurts your feelings and mends them all at once," and I can safely say she accomplished her goal. There's something so healing in being reminded that so many people go through the same things and feel the same way.

I'm not normally a poetry girl, but after falling in love with Josie's words on Instagram, I knew I would love this collection.

I struggled with how to rate this book. The premise sounded great but it felt so rushed. Everything moves extremely fast which means we don't get any tension. I'm still baffled by the way the accidental pregnancy came around. It was a bit of a weird scenario.

I did love Chase though. He was a great mmc and he really stepped up. Unfortunately I just didn't feel any chemistry between him & Ella. Even in the epilogue they didn't feel like a couple madly in love.

Their traumas were briefly mentioned and then brushed over instead of being used to show their character development. We don't learn much about Ella's past until all the action is packed into the last 20%. The witness protection angle is supposed to add some suspense, but it's kind of forgotten about until the end.

I don't say this often but this book could've done with being longer. It just needed everything fleshing out a bit more. Whilst it was lacking something, it was still a quick fun read.

Waffles was the star of the show.

This is the first book I have read by Michelle, but I will definitely be going back for book 1 in this series. This works beautifully as a standalone, but I can't wait to get to know the other characters better. Elyse's family are so damn lovable and Red Mountain is the perfect small town setting.

I love a romantic suspense and this one had me hooked. I thought I had worked it all out but I was definitely wrong.

The romance side is so sweet and packed full of tension and yearning. I'm not normally a man in uniform girly but Dominic won me over. I found Elyse frustrating at the beginning but once we get to know her more the way she acts makes sense. I did, however, love how strong willed and determined she is. It was so nice to watch her learn to relax and accept help though. The chemistry between them was there from the start and they were destined to be together.

If you love your romance to come with all the baggage and suspense then this is the one for you.

I don't think I have the words to describe how much I love this series. It's so fucking beautiful and Aubrey is beyond talented. She has the ability to rip your heart out and then put it back together with a little forhead kiss. She covers some incrediby tough topics (check tw) with so much care and love.

Her characters are messy and real and you will fall in love with every single one of them.

Before Honey Pot I said I was nervous for what would happen to Dean. Aubrey promised me she would take care of him and she absolutely did.

Dean is so soft and puts so much pressure on himself to be perfect for everyone else. The way Josh saw him and tried to look after him even when he was convinced he didn't want friends.

Then we have Josh. Trying to use anger and tough guy persona just to get through the day. I wasn't sure what to expect from him but I am now a proud member of the Joshua Logan Protection Squad. Watching Dean slowly break down his walls was beautiful. He learnt his triggers and respected them even when it was hard.

The slow burn is slow and the progress from hate to love felt so natural. The small ways they show up for each other and how patient they are with each other *chefs kiss*.

Found family is my favourite and Aubrey is the Queen of the trope. I love them all and seeing them all interact is so heartwarming plus they make me cackle. Cael cracks me up. Aubrey is hilarious when she isn't ripping your heart out. Be warned though because that damn Nest makes me cry every time. It's an emotional rollercoaster.

I cannot wait for Silas' book because he deserves the world after putting up with The Nest and their antics.
